4 / 5
It was a mixed experience - the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The location is great with white sand beaches and breathtaking views of the ocean and nearby islands. However there were some major let downs - the main dining and bar area is too old and not well maintained. the food was awful and they kept running out of basic food items and water. One day we had to wait for about 18 hours just to get a bottle of water. The continental breakfast was meant to have fresh seasonal fruits, but they served preserved fruits dipped in sugar syrup. The pasta served for lunch (priced at FJD 22) was made from cheap bottled pasta sauce. It doesn’t look like the resort owner or senior management care enough about the guest experience. The $75 buffet dinner didn’t taste fresh and heard so many complaining about the food. I feel bad for the staff who are super friendly and hardworking, but they don’t seem to be well supported by the owner.
