From the moment we arrived at Executive House ZEN, I felt I was stepping into something exceptional. The calm, elegant design of the lounge and rooms immediately set a tone of luxury and tranquility,exactly what you’d hope for in an upscale Hotel. The suite itself was spacious, with a king-size bed, plush amenities, and lovely views over Tokyo’s cityscape and gardens. The bathroom felt more like a spa retreat,refined touches, high-quality toiletries like Salvatore Ferragamo, and a bathtub that invites you to linger. Service throughout was outstanding. Staff were attentive, warm and professional. Having a dedicated concierge, exclusive check-in/check-out, and access to the ZEN lounge with food/drinks and breathtaking views made the stay feel pampered. The location is another highlight set in Chiyoda with proximity to landmarks like the Imperial Palace and elegant gardens. Yet despite being in the heart of the city, there’s a serene feeling thanks to the 400-year-old Japanese garden on the property. It gives you a sense of escape without sacrificing access to what Tokyo has to offer. If I were to find minor downsides, I’d say some of the non-ZEN common areas feel a bit dated compared with the refined ZEN parts. And though the food is generally very good, a couple of dining out experiences were poor.

Loved how quiet it was (very & we stayed in a number of Tokyo hotels- the garden around the property was a quietness buffer that was more effective than being on the 45th floor of other hotels). Beds were quite comfortable even if a little on the firm side (standard for Japan). Great view of Mt Fuji from the lounge. Impeccable service, especially by Yuki. Excellent English & went so far out of her way to make sure we had a great time & had everything we could ever need. The rest of the team were flawless too. Loved the garden- worth it on its own. Super close to the subway, so very convenient, Always taxis at the door with staff happy to explain in Japanese exactly where you need to go to the driver. (Tip- Make sure you have a physical credit card with you in Tokyo & some Yen cash). I travel a lot and this hotel is now one of my favourites in the world. Highly recommend!
