Friendly staff, but we had very little interaction with them. Check-in is automated. It is efficient, but it deprives us of the exceptional personal service that Japan is known for. Good hotel—clean and pleasant, but impersonal. Very good breakfast in the ground-floor cafeteria.

This hotel satisfied our needs for this trip. We were taking several trips out via bullet train from Tokyo station so we decided to stay nearby. This location is about a 15 min walk from the station, but it was on the more affordable end of the options available. The room was perfect for the two of us. It was ever so slightly larger than the typical business style room and the simple interior and high ceiling by the bedside helped it to feel less cramped. The windows open! Which is a must during this time when the heaters are cranked up beyond comfort. The staff was always very courteous. The guests seemed to be mainly traveling local business folk. The two elevators were never a long wait. The area is so quiet at night, it was a first for us to be staying in Tokyo and not hear the occasional sirens or traffic outside. Free hot drinks in lobby or visit the cafe downstairs for a full spread. There are quite a handful of assorted eateries all throughout the side streets and Main Street. What’s even more convenient than a convenience store on your block? A supermarket across the street! We frequented My Basket daily for our needs, which was probably more affordable than the konboni but yes there are several available a block or so out. There’s also two drugstores on opposite blocks of the hotel. Nihombashi station and kabayacho station were walking distance, which we’d often use to get about town. We would stay again!

It was a nice hotel, the service was self-service so everything was done through a machine. I was able to store my backpack before check-in so that was a plus. Area was nice and quiet, there's a mall close by so that was convenient. Breakfast was offered at the next door cafe, it was decent.

Hotel was 15mins away from Tokyo station, 5mins from metro, and tucked into a quiet street. No public bath but your personal wet bath which we took advantage of most of our stay. Room was perfect size for a couple. We encountered no disruptions in our 5 nights stay. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Supermarket is right across the street and there were plenty of dining options around that were local and not overwhelmed with tourists.
