I picked this hotel because it had a washer/dryer in every room, a feature of all Tokyu Stay hotels. It was in a great location, with the Takanawa Gateway Train Station literally just across the street, and Shinagawa Station just one stop away. Perfect for access to the Haneda Express Train. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here a couple of nights for return trip. Close by a couple of metro stations with different lines. If you catch a rapid line, only three stops or 20 mins to/from Haneda. Local eateries, 15 min walk to Shinagawa area. Hotel was clean and pretty reasonably sized for Japan standards. Bonus - washing machine/dryer combo in room. Service was good.

This hotel is centrally located with walking distance access to grocery stores, restaurants, convenient stores, and 2 train stations with direct lines for shopping hubs like Ginza, Shinjuku, Shibuya. The staff is warm and hospitable and the rooms clean and a decent size for Japan standards. I really appreciated the small refrigerator, microwave and washer/dryer unit combo, which is not common in other hotels. I know Tokyu has other locations around Japan, so for future travels will definitely stay with them again.

I had a very pleasant stay at Tokyu Stay. The room was clean and well equipped with everything I needed. The split air-conditioning system worked very well, keeping both temperature and humidity comfortable. While the room wasn’t large, it was perfectly adequate and actually slightly bigger than some European hotels in the same category. High-speed Wi-Fi was reliable throughout the hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. Breakfast was buffet-style and served in the lobby restaurant, offering a good selection of choices. Housekeeping was limited, with full room cleaning once a week; however, towels were changed and bins emptied daily upon request. This arrangement worked fine for me as a solo traveler, though it may be less convenient for families. I believe additional housekeeping may be available for an extra charge, but I’m not entirely sure. The location was excellent — just a one-minute walk from Sengakuji Metro Station and about 0.8 miles from Shinagawa Station, making airport transfers and sightseeing very easy. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and local shops around Shinagawa Station. The only downside was breakfast being served only until 9:30 am; it would have been better if it was available until at least 10:00.

Thanks to the opening of the Takanawa Gateway Station this makes transportation and dining and shopping all in one place! It isn’t too crowded and excellent for me who wants a less chaotic environment from shinjuku and shibuya. Will always recommend this place for those seeking walkable places while being relatively close to the Yamanote Line
