I was travelling to Tokyo on a budget and this hotel fit the bill. Everything I read in the reviews was accurate. Be sure to book a non-smoking room (I was able to change mine last minute). I was travelling alone and found the room to be just the right size. The bed is really hard and the pillows aren't too fluffy. But that's okay! The walls are also paper thin. My neighbour had multiple alarms set on their phone in the morning, on vibrate only, and they woke me up. But seeing as my main goal was to stay in Tokyo on a budget, this hotel was perfect. Great and clean and has a breakfast buffet every morning. It's mostly local cuisine - don't expect eggs and sausage - but it's there. This hotel is not near any of the major attractions, so if you book here, expect to travel. I'm a seasoned traveller so spending 30-40 minutes on transit every day did not bother me. I came home every day to a clean, quiet hotel and that was all that mattered. I spent more on going on than on the hotel, and that's how I like to travel. I'd stay here again. All that being said, it would be very difficult to shove 2 people in one of the rooms. Great for a solo traveller or someone on business.
