This is a true coasty bach. Cosy, simple and compact, with beds for up to 10 across the house and cabin. Bedrooms are small with that classic bach feel, so expect close quarters, relaxed living, rather than a big modern home. If you’re after an easy coastal base to sleep, eat, and chill, you’ll be sweet.

🐴 A Little About Us

We are a busy equestrian family and we are often away most weekends from November to Easter for comps. Because we cannot always manage same day changeovers while we are out of town, some weekends have a 2 night minimum. If you need a 1 night stay, send us a message and we will try to help.

🏠 The Space

This is a classic Kiwi bach. Cosy, simple and compact with small bedrooms and limited storage. The house sleeps 7 and the cabin adds space for 3 more. Even though there are enough beds for 10, the bach itself is small so expect close quarter living and proper bach energy rather than a big modern home. It is cool in summer, relaxed and set up with everything you need for an easy stay. Perfect for workers, whānau gatherings, tangi downtime or anyone needing a coasty reset.

🛋️ Lounge

Big couch, two La-Z-Boys, smart TV, free Netflix, fireplace and air con. Cool when it’s hot, warm when it’s not.

🍳 Kitchen

Fridge/freezer, 5-burner gas hob and electric oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, air fryer, rice cooker, slow cooker, electric frypan, Nutribullet, egg beater and all the basics — pots, pans, trays, platters. Cook a mean feed or bake your feelings. Your call.

🍽️ Dining

Table and 4 chairs — good for dinner, cards or yarns.

🛁 Bathroom / Laundry

The shower is in the laundry (or maybe the laundry is in the shower 🤷‍♀️).
Water pressure is strong enough to waterblast off the weight of the world.
Toilet, vanity, mirror, body wash, shampoo and conditioner included.
Washing machine, dryer and outdoor clothesline for that sun-dried freshness.

🛏️ Bedrooms

Room 1: Two king singles + king single trundler bed, wardrobe.
Room 2: Queen bed, desk and chair, wardrobe, dresser.
Room 3: Double bed, dresser, wardrobe.

Cabin: Double bed, king single bed, dresser. Brand new and bright, and is very warm due to insulation and double-glazed windows.

All rooms are compact, but comfy. All linen, towels and basics provided.
Warm blankets stay on the beds for cooler nights.

🚪 Guest Access

Guests have full access to the house, section, and outdoor areas. It’s all yours to enjoy with no shared spaces.

Self check-in is easy with a lockbox by the door. The code will be sent to you automatically.

There’s plenty of parking on the property or on the front lawn, including room for a horse float, horse truck, trailer, log truck, or work vehicle if needed.

🌺 This is a real coasty bach, so the bedrooms are small and storage is limited.

🔊 The water pressure pump is located outside the bathroom near Bedroom Three, and it can turn on and off at any time, which may wake light sleepers.

🌡️ The cabin is brand new, bright, and tidy, but it can get warm at night

🧳 The house is compact, so it is best to pack light or use shared spaces for bags.

🐓 Fresh air, clear skies, and the occasional rooster, moo or neigh are all part of the coasty soundtrack.

🏡 The house is 70s retro with a few quirks, but she is clean, comfy and works hard for her guests.

🕯️ Power cuts can happen on the Coast. Candles are in the pantry just in case.
