Basic room to sleep and shower

We just needed a clean, comfortable place to stay to celebrate Mom's 85th birthday and they provided just what we were looking for. Staff was nice, convenient location, we have no complaints.

Easy check in. They need to let you know before you come that they need a 150.00 deposit which is tefunded at check out before you can get the key for the room. My son wished the pool wash in working order

We didn't mind this hotel, it was very basic but cleaner than a stay in seaside heights. The room was damp but cool. The pool and fitness area were closed, and the fire alarm went off once during the one night stay (but turned off shortly after). Hotel was small, parking was easy. They had a tiny, tiny breakfast area but we did not check it out. Staff were fine. Id rather stay 8 minutes from the boardwalk for this price then double in the boardwalk for a dirtier room.

The fact that I booked them called to verify what time check in was and that all paid I did not need to bring anything else money use and the front desk gentleman said yes all paid thru Expedia and you just need to pick up keys at desk and bring license then when I got there was told I need 150 CASH

Poor service

No continental breakfast, pool was being repaired. Vending machines were no stocked. When checking out. Desk clerk said only the manager can check me out. I was leaving. No time to wait for my receipt. Still have no idea what my charges are.

rundown and outdated property

hotel front entrance door broken and has a sign to open and close manually . not a good start for a disabled person using a walking device . looking back at other reviews i can see this has been broken since atleast march 2025 . what kind of hotel doesnt have a working door for over 4 months ? arrived at 2:25pm and was told id have to pay $50 to check in before 3pm . literally 30 minutes early . woman at desk was very rude about it as well . so i had to sit in my car for a half hour which is ridiculous when rooms were clearly ready . room itself has not sparkling but was passable for a quick stay . stains in the bathroom and hairs on the hardwood floor in numerous places . tv was bigger and nice . bed was very stiff and uncomfortable . no ice machine on the first floor and just 1 microwave for the entire place . no mention of these things or of a pool or gym at check-in but i did see signs for them , no idea if they were operating or not but my guess is no . seems the workers like to park in the handicap stalls right at the entrance as i saw them parking there all thru my stay , with no handicap tag i might add . not a good look to someone who needs those spots . hotel clearly has been neglected and i would not recommend staying here . i would pay a little more for a better situation in the future
