Step back in time - the place appears to have been updated recently, everything in like new antique condition, but not so much you're afraid to touch. The room (king suite) was spotless, nicely appointed and well, just perfect. My only gripe would be that for breakfast you are sent across the street to the Mizpah Hotel (another super charming, restored antique hotel), where either they don't care or want to serve anyone breakfast. It appeared that even though the restaraunt filled quickley (we were the second table sat when we arrived, five or six more tables filled soon after - only one person appeared to be working, serving one table at a time. Took orders from first table after we sat, disappeared for 25 minutes, then delivered their order. No other orders or contact with the server for the 25 minutes after she left with the first tables order. We left and went to Strawberry Hill, which was quick and excellent in every way.

Very Nice Hotel

This was our second stay at the Belvada. We used to stay at the Mizpah, but we are finding the Belvada more comfortable. We have to pay a little more, but it is nice to get a Suite where we have a couch to sit on in the evening.

Loved the historical renovation of this beautiful hotel. It was clean, cool, the beds very comfortable and the decor gorgeous. Loved the coffee shop (back in the 1900's my great uncle had his shop in the space that is now the coffee shop in this building) nice young person working in there and it was good coffee, clean and nice atmosphere. I love Tonopah and so grateful for those doing all they can to keep the history preserved.
