Beware - You are taking the risk of being double charged for your room and additional fees through duplicate emails, registration, and payment requests - as well as text messaging. The property is unwilling to accept responsibility for its chaotic digital communication system. The management is very impersonal and offers no assistance. Not for a first time visitor to Toronto.

Mainly good things. Excellent area in Yorkville and close to great seating, walking and dining areas and right in downtown. The managers were great on communications and replies (as long as before 11 pm). Apartment was on 29th floor so incredible view and nice seating area and small kitchen. Everything was clean. Despite all of this probably would not stay again. First the washroom area was extremely small & cramped and not great to use. Also quality was worse than other parts of the apartment like it was built at two different times? The value in the end wasn't great. No turn down service ($100 per day if you want that) late check out fee and other fees as well. We moved to the W hotel later and on paper it was $100 more expensive, but the space and quality was much more with full hotel experiences. Avalon Suites had good things about it but it is priced too high for the value that you receive.

The communication was stellar! Our unit was clean and quiet & it was very easy and safe to access. The TTC has stops all around the building within a block or two walk. Lots of shopping and restaurants! 10/10 experience

The check in process seemed very strange and unsafe. A person without any proof of affiliation with the property greeted us and took us up to the apartment. If I wasn’t with my husband, I wouldn’t have gone up with him. He was surprised that I was not alone, but the reservation was for 2 people. The apartment was fine, although the bed was tiny and definitely not for 2 people. It was also not possible for 2 people to walk around the bedroom, making it very uncomfortable. Most of the elevators in the building were not working. It took a long time to go up and down- this should have been communicated to us and reflected in the price. Overall, the apartment is fine, the area is great. I would not recommend anyone to go there alone due to the strange check in process and definitely don’t expect a hotel type service. For the money, probably can find a better place.

Property was lovely and the unit was clean and well lit — certainly a plus. Kitchenette was usable. However, bathroom was tiny. No facial tissues, and couldn’t get any. Towels were flimsy and there were no extras and no wash cloths. Furnishings and supplies all felt as cheap as possible. Parking was exciting, as there were an extraordinarily large numbers of turns and twists underground, along with options of whether to turn left or right, and exceedingly poor signage. Our first time out, we actually did get lost and needed to ask someone for help. Every time we came or left, I was thunderstruck that we were able to get in or out successfully.

The only real advantage to staying at this property is the location for the price. They will send about 1000 instructions for arrival and check-in. It was absolute overkill, and yet somehow they still made the arrival process confusing. The room itself was fine; clean enough. For some reason they can't put fitted sheets not the bed. And they won't clean your room during your stay unless you pay extra. Most obnoxious was the subscribe to some free streaming service that offers the same 5 tv shows 24hrs a day. It's playoff season! And not everyone wants to sit in a bar for hours to watch the games. This seemed unbelievably cheap. And speaking of cheap... the shower knob complete came off when I was turning on the water to shower! They didn't offer to come fix it during our stay, so I had to jimmy the water on and off for the remainder of our time. A redeeming factor was that they let us extend our parking after the check-out time at no extra charge because we were not leaving until later that same day. Although the cost of parking in and of itself was quite steep! Next time I will pay extra to stay at a real hotel. Sometimes, you get what you pay for.

You couldn't ask for a better location. In the heart of fashionable Yorkville and just around the corner from the ROM. Easy access to subway. Only real complaint is that blinds didn't block out light. Suite itself was basic but clean and bed comfortable providing everything I needed.
