First of all, they did attempt to offer assistance, but due to timing and the nature of their operation we were unable to connect on property to rectify my main issue. Positives Good communication from operators, clean unit, location was ideal for my business needs, kitchen availability, wifi. Value! Main issue- the bed (mattress) was extremely uncomfortable, hard, lumpy, with springs felt through the top. Highly suggest replacing said mattress. Other more minor issues: curtains that did not provide adequate coverage for light blocking, small shower with missing shelf had to keep cleansing items on shower floor, lack of flexible HVAC due to building and time of year forced to have sliding door open, which of course made it extremely loud especially with the sporting events taking place in the area. I would stay here again of the bed issue was addressed.

Suite location and layout was good. Check in and out was easy. Bed was too hard. Winter time heating for the suite (and building apparently) was 27 degrees C and not changeable via unit temperature control. Lowering the temperature (as per unit instructions) could only be done by leaving the balcony door wide open to let cold air and street noise in. It was like sleeping inside a dehydrator.

The unit was well appointed and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Some rough edges such as vertical blinds that should be replaced or repaired. As well, only one of three elevators servicing the ninth floor was working. Some very long waits for the elevator was frustrating. Otherwise a fine unit and good value.

Fantastic location, 3 minutes walk from the CN Tower. Accommodation good, well equipped kitchen. Slightly annoying that you could not turn the fans off on the bathrooms, particularly the en-suite. The massive downside is the lifts. I knew from reading the reviews that this was an issue, but what I wasn’t expecting was 2 out of the 3 low rise lifts not working and no sign of them being repaired in the 6 days we were there. Took 40 minutes to leave on our last day

The suite was in an excellent location. Right across the street from the Rogers Centre, the Aquarium, the CN tower and the Convention Center. We were there for a meeting at the convention center and it was a perfect location. Also you could walk to U of T and many other restaurants. There was also a small grocery market nearby so we used the kitchen in the apartment. It was very clean and well run. The elevators were a little crowded and took a bit long but that was the only negative.

Broken elevators and >30 flights of stairs

This is a very large apartment building that houses long term and short term residents. It's a great location and the room set-up (two bedrooms and two bathrooms), was perfect for a group of four adults. Unfortunately, the beds were very uncomfortable, bedding was basic, and couch springs were so worn that it was difficult to use. The biggest issue was the elevators - there were 6 elevators for the building - 3 for the lower floors and 3 for the upper floors. One was already blocked with tape on our arrival and another was clearly not operating though not marked. An apartment resident on our first day mentioned that the elevators had been broken off and on for months. There were often a dozen or more people waiting for an elevator in the small lobby. By the day we left, there were no functional elevators for the lower floors and only one for the upper floors. The building is massive and there are apartment residents as well as Life Suites guests, and this volume could not be accommodated by a single elevator that could only stop on half the floors. We ended up carrying our luggage down over 30 flights of stairs to get out. Check-in and check-out were easy, but there is no Life Suites staff on site, so no one to address the elevator issue in a reasonable time frame.

Everything was perfect except the A/C we noticed after we were established in the room with two kids and didn’t want to change rooms again the only solution was to open the balcony and let the air from the outside in other than that everything else was good specially if you have kids you will have all of the commodities. Views and location was amazing

Stayed by myself and it was a good size. Location was good, with attractions nearby. Check in was straight forward, however, I had booked, paid in advance and provided credit card details for a security deposit before I left Australia. A few days prior to arriving the hotel required confirmation of the security deposit, which was difficult as my credit card wasn't linked to my roaming contact details. There was no option to do this another way. I was able sort with help from family at home, but would have been challenging without that.

Would return again with friends and family, sleeping arrangement was superb, location Perfect with walking to everywhere, neighbourhood was right in DT at the entertainment district so no shortage of nightlife and sports life. This property is much better than the notorious ICE condos, better maintained, cleaner, safer, better designed even. Only trouble are the elevators being down and amenity space not fully open at the time of visit.
