Stuck in the 90s: A Stale and Stuffy Stay

The hotel is very dated and clearly needs renovation. The rooms and decor feel stuck in the 1990s, with old bedside alarm clocks and yellowed plug sockets from years of use. There was a strong musty, stale smell in the room which was quite unpleasant. It didn’t help that the windows couldn’t be opened, and the air conditioning unit gave off a foul odour, making it unusable during hot days. The room ended up feeling stuffy with no fresh air. The breakfast area is tiny, with only seven tables, so finding a seat in the morning is difficult. There’s a fair range of food, but the quality is poor with stale pastries and cold eggs. The cutlery and plates often have stains, which suggests they’re not properly cleaned. One staff member seemed to be running the whole breakfast service alone, which is unfair and reflects in the overall poor experience.

You get what you pay for. This is a standard 3-star hotel with no frills. The location is convenient, and the free breakfast and parking are a nice bonus. The room was clean but outdated, and the furniture and decor could definitely use a refresh. Service was polite, friendly and professional. Don’t expect luxury, but if you’re just looking for a basic place to sleep, it does the job. The value is fair for the price. Rating: 3/5

Musty, and damp room and carpet.

Room has a nice tv but the room I got was a musty moist smell, and definitely couldn’t take your shoes off with the condition of that carpet. It was very densely moist like there was a water leak somewhere. Overall I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.
