We stayed so we could walk to nearby subway station to head to downtown Toronto for the evening to see a show. Clean place, staff were nice. Comfortable bed. We did tell staff about damaged closet door and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. Also mentioned a very awkwardly arranged toilet area. The bathroom tissue attached in such a way that you have to turn your body around in a very uncomfortable position. If you’re a larger person I would imagine it being uncomfortable just sitting as it’s so tight to the counter. Then the flush handle is tucked in behind the tissue and is difficult to reach. Room 324. The breakfast voucher gets you a VERY basic meal of yogurt, cereal, toast and fruit. They will charge if you want eggs or meat. Basic thing like butter they had run out of. I would try another hotel in the area of the subway next time to see if it is better. Pleasant stay but some minor issues.

It was ok. Things are a little dated, and in need of repair. I didn’t like how obvious it was that the restaurant is run separately from the hotel. The restaurant staff wasn’t easy to deal with in the breakfast hours, and the food offerings and overall quality were below my expectations.
