The Space:
Villa Avisa family beach house is located in Torquay, only 250m to White’s Beach. When your holiday house is this close to the beach, you won’t need the car! Time here will be spent walking barefoot along the beach, diving into the waves and collecting sea shells. The Flying Fox playground is on the foreshore parkland nearby, giving families plenty to do in the immediate vicinity.
Quietly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Torquay, this home is in a great location, central to both the Torquay North Shopping Village and the Gilbert St main shops (1.8km in either direction). The house is equipped with everything for the perfect family getaway. The north-facing patio with BBQ and outdoor furniture is undercover for all-weather use. Kids can play safely outside in the fully fenced backyard, with established greenery offering both privacy and tranquility. A well-behaved pet is welcome by request at the time of booking and subject to House Rules. Please note an extra $50 pet fee will be applied to your reservation.
The single storey layout has no stairs and is tiled throughout, with carpet to the second living area and all bedrooms. The light-filled kitchen has a large island bench, with quality stainless-steel appliances including 900mm electric oven, induction cooktop and dishwasher, plus a coffee pod machine, all crockery, cutlery and cookware. A timber 8-seater dining table sets the scene for memorable family meals, or enjoy casual dining outside at the BBQ area.
Chill out in the main living room, or in the front lounge, where you can enjoy watching movies on the Smart TVs with Netflix connectivity (log in to your own account). There is room for everyone to spread out and find retreat, plus a selection of board games and books for family entertainment. The main living area has a split system heating-cooling unit, while ducted heating warms the entire house.
The 4-bedroom home sleeps up to 8 guests, zoned for easy, enjoyable holidays and beautifully appointed with white hotel quality sheets and bath towels, making your stay as pleasurable as possible.
The west-facing master bedroom with ensuite and walk-in robe is located away from the minor bedroom wing. The second bedroom has a Queen bed, then a Twin Single bedroom. The fourth bedroom has a Queen bed with a garden outlook. The laundry has a washing machine and clothes dryer, and the family bathroom has a spa bath, shower and separate toilet.

Beaches - Our beautiful local beach is just 3 minutes walk away. Torquay, Jan Juc beach and all the reef breaks towards Bells Beach offer waves for advanced surfers. Spring Creek caters to family fishing, SUPing, kayaking, and walking the boardwalks and pathways. Plenty of cafes and restaurants locally, with many restaurants, wineries and breweries around the region. Adventure Park is a great day out with the kids - just 45mins drive away. Explore day trips along The Great Ocean Road!

Our beach house is within 250m walking/riding distance to Flying Fox Playground White’s Beach. Off-street and on-street parking available. Double garage accessible to guests, with rear roller door for a small boat or trailer.
Buses to and from Ocean Grove/ Barwon Heads / Geelong.
Closest train station 25km away (Marshall station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne.
Torquay is 1 hour 20 mins by car from Melbourne.
