Gem near Tossa de Mar
We really enjoyed our stay. The host, Elvira, was lovely! She has taken such care to make a wonderful property with requisite beach vibe, and all the thoughtful comforts of a top property! We SO enjoyed the amazing and huge veranda with the spectacular ocean view. We also appreciated that it was half covered so afforded some shade. Waking up to the ocean view was fantastic! A couple of points to note. The beach that is a 5min walk from the apartment is wonderful (steep walk back up the hill but doable, and you can also drive down).There is also a very well equipped grocery store and a very reasonably priced restaurant with sea view. Both are near the sandy beach. This is a gated community so no worries about leaving a rental car out. The apartment does not have any air conditioning which is totally fine with the sea breeze at 28 degrees but the bedrooms got very hot at 34 degrees. Our guest in the small bedroom slept on the veranda to stay cool which was also fun. Finally, travellers should be aware that it is a VERY steep and windy road back to Tossa de Mar, something you will only want to do once a day. However, there are plenty of reasons to just stay put and enjoy the apartment and amenities.
