It starts with the finest of locations. SMOKY DREAM is located on a private dead end road in the gated Laurel Valley community, Townsend’s quietest neighborhood. Available is level parking for at least four cars with easy home access. Upon entering the home, you are absorbed by a cozy great room. The scent of the mountain forest surrounds you in the form of hand hewn beams on the vaulted ceilings and originally crafted one of a kind live-edge furniture. The dry stack fireplace welcomes your peaceful moments.
A fully furnished kitchen with a coffered beam ceiling and granite countertops sets the stage for your finest culinary creations. To assist, a special covered outdoor gilling area was built to include a large propane Charbroil grill and a Blackstone griddle. The adjoining dining area appointed with another live-edge table masterpiece along with a quiet sitting area allows all to enjoy the mountain view. Enjoy viewing the deer, turkeys, bear, and other animals in the yard that was planted with native biologic food sources.
There are three bedrooms, all King Suites with high quality mattresses, hand crafted live edge furniture, in-room holographic fireplaces and smart tv’s. The lower level has a trundle bed with two single beds and one double bed. The house comfortably sleeps nine people. A separate activity level in the home is a vacationer’s dream come true. A private theatre room with comfortable seating for a theatre-like experience. Enjoy a game of darts on a championship dart court. A billiard table, an air hockey and a ping pong table entertains everyone’s favorite game. Foosball or vintage arcade games await. An indoor putting green allows golfers to tune up their game. Absolutely Amazing Weekend!

We decided to take a last minute getaway and get out of town for a couple of days. After searching through a few properties, I decided on Ferngully. The photos of the place looked great, so we booked. The check in process was super easy. You have to pick up keys down the road, but it is just a few minutes away, it was a painless process, and the lovely ladies in the office were awesome! The property itself sits behind a golf course, and it was actually pretty easy to get to from their instructions.When we entered the property, we were extremely happy about our choice. New cabin, and the details were so good! Very clean. We took our tour and then immediately sat down in the front room on the main floor and just cozied up on the couch and relaxed for a bit. Within a couple hours of checking in we were visited by wild turkey and deer. We were able to watch them for a good hour before they moved on. The back patio on the main floor is so peaceful. The game room was a blast with the video games, darts, foosball, air hockey, etc. They really thought of it all here! One thing we have never had real good luck with in rentals in getting the TV to easily work. That was not a problem here! Easy! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The beds were comfy - maybe my only wish would be for firmer pillows. These were a little flat. BUT I still slept like a baby! I could go on, but I'm running out of room. I can tell you that we will definitely bee booking Ferngully again! Thanks!
