This is an older but well maintained facility.
The view cannot be beat. Had drinks and dinner and watch the clouds clear from Denali. Amazing memory. One of our highlights.

Good food and service, nice campus, great views of Mt McKinley
The property itself had many options --- on-site dining, gift shop etc. Location was a bit remote -- further from Denali than I thought but lovely surroundings. However, the setting is very difficult for someone who has accessibility issues unless you have a motorized wheelchair. Buildings are far apart and on crutches or any other device that is not motorized you will have difficulties.
Food at restaurant was average. Room was dated and carpet and walls in the hall very marked up. No elevator so you have to carry all your bags up a flight of stairs. Lots of buildings with rooms but poor signage makes it challenging to find your room the first time. First day our room was “cleaned” but they didn’t even make the bed. However the maid was sure to take the tip we left her.
Loved the Treehouse trail & other trail options. Amazing views while dining or if you just wanted to enjoy a beverage while watching the sunset over the mountains! Plenty of comfortable seating. Staff helpful & pleasant.
This property was ok, the rooms were dated, bathrooms were basic and small. I’ve stayed at the Princess lodge in Copper Center and the rooms were spectacular, here the rooms were marginal. We were disappointed.
This could have been a great stay but it was ruined by the security and other staff at the front outside of the main lodge. They told my husband to slow down his car - totally fair though hard to see the 5 mph hidden behind a fallen branch - but the problem was that I was standing there waiting for him to pick me up and after they requested the slowdown they proceeded to mock him not realizing I was with his party. I cannot believe the level of unprofessional. I had to remind the staff that talking trash about guests in a public space is never ok. Also, the bunk beds have too tall of mattresses rendering the top bunk unusable for children as the mattress comes to the top of the safety rail. Further there is no AC heads up. And there was a lot of textile staining in the room.
