Welcome to Gold Coast Inn, a modern self-check-in boutique hotel in Traverse City, designed with a relaxed surf-and-sand coastal theme.

Deluxe Garden View Room 109 provides a peaceful garden-facing setting and comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests with 1 queen bed and 1 queen sleeper sofa. The room is ideal for couples, solo travelers, small families, or friends looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay while exploring Traverse City and Northern Michigan.

In-room amenities include a Roku TV with streaming apps, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, WiFi, and free parking.

Guests enjoy easy self check-in and access to shared balconies, common areas, game and lounge spaces, and a rear outdoor deck with shared BBQ grills. Grills are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Had to have another guest explain how to work the doors with the codes. No instructions were ever given. Tv in room didn’t work and there was no one to ask or explain how to correct. Having to strip the bed?! Seriously?! What does the cleaning fee cover?! “Garden view” was literally looking over an overgrown mess of weeds.

No Room Code or Refund - Had to stay somewhere else

Long story short: I spent almost two hours trying to contact the company to get room access. They never got back to me, and I had to get a hotel. I still haven't received a refund. On the day of check-in, I sent the host a message asking about my access code. I didn't get a reply but assumed that there would be instructions or someone to help once I arrived. I got to the Inn, but there was no one there and no instructions. I tried calling all of the numbers provided, but no one answered. I contacted Vrbo, and they tried contacting the host as well. They tried four times and never heard from them. After an hour and a half on the phone and searching through my email and the Vrbo listing, I still didn't get an answer. I left and had to get a last-minute room at a hotel down the street. A few days later, I was finally put in contact with a person from the Inn...but they were extremely rude and accused me of lying. They said they had to check a few things and would get back to me, but they never did.
