Beck is an amazing innkeeper and shared great knowledge of the area for sights, trails, and shopping. She was accommodating of my schedule as I was competing in a sailing event over the weekend that had me leaving the property early each day.

The Sylvan Inn was a great Bed and Breakfast! The room we stayed in was really clean and cute for us when we got there and sharing a bathroom wasn’t as bad as we had initially thought! The staff was incredibly friendly in the morning for breakfast and got it out to us quickly each morning. The breakfasts were light and refreshing and so very tasty! The parking situation wasn’t terrible either. Overall a great stay and we will be coming back in the future!

Sylvan Inn was an AMAZING stay! Beck was a gracious, kind, and extremely helpful host. Breakfasts were delicious and tried to meet dietary needs (exchanged eggs for yogurt, added eggs when more protein was needed, etc.). The room was delightful- clean and so cozy. Tea, water, and coffee were available. Great location- within eye sight of several good restaurants and ice cream, walking distance from beach access, and minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes. Overall a wonderful stay!
