Staying in this lovely little house feels like stepping back in time. Can’t say enough about how amazing it was to stay here. Location was perfect, view of the lighthouse in the early morning mist and listening to the comforting foghorn in the distance was good for the soul. The beautiful book that the host gifted to us was a lovely surprise. The energy in this gem of a place feels like a warm hug from your favorite Nan. We will be back!

Trinity is like a living historical village and we loved exploring the Bonavista peninsula and going to see the puffins at Elliston. The house is full of character (slanted floors and hand hewn floor boards through which you can peer down to the kitchen) and has a good selection of books. The view is also lovely and you can look out to the ocean from the top sitting room.

A traditional with character!

We had a great stay here! The home (and town) have been well kept to keep the traditional feel. Rebecca’s home has lots of character and her collection of art was very interesting. The home was clean and close to the town’s amenities. A beauty of a spot!

Whales and Puffins

Trinity is a great spot if you’re looking for all things nature. We used this quaint and cosy heritage home as a base to go whale watching and puffin spotting. But there is so much more in the area. Restored homes, museums, trails, tours, restaurants, and excellent chocolate! We are 4 senior women with different personalties but we all agreed we’d return here again, in a heart beat.

Cozy accommodation in Trinity

Trinity is a quaint little town. We had an easy drive to Elliston to see puffins and Bonavista to see the lighthouse. There is a great little fish market in Bonavista with fantastic scallops and fresh lobster. We had a feast!

The house was located in an excellent place within Trinity. The walls were decorated with many intesting and artistic paintings and pieces of art that presented a historical interpretation of the area and Newfoundland in general. Received a gift of a beautiful presentations by a local artist. All was comfortable and clean. We did not use the cooking facilities but they looked very satisfactory.

Unfortunately we were expecting a hot tub on the property as per the VRBO listing When brought to owner’s attention she contacted us immediately and responded that VRBO had made an error and she contacted them and had posting updated. Other than that visit was very picturesque. Lovely village of Trinity.

Beautiful spot! Nicely appointed homes. Only suggestion is to have property manager text client on instructions with entry/key as a phone call was difficult. Several calls were attempted. I finally texted and requested instructions via text which worked wonderfully.

Trinity house

The house was quaint with lots of antique charm, bright windows, and a gorgeous view of the harbour . It was well -appointed with everything we needed. The only concern was that the two twin beds are not in a separate room, but in the open area on the 2nd floor. We managed fine, but if you needed more privacy, you would be challenged.
