Very pleased with this cute little cabin. The host was very responsive and super accommodating for our last minute stay. The property is beautiful and the kids LOVED the arcade. Everyone in the area was so friendly. We highly recommend this property and will most definitely be visiting again!

Hiking-Family Vacation

The Grey Cabin was a perfect "base camp" that we came home to each evening after we hiked in Grayson Highlands. We loved eating outside on the porch and listening to the creek as well as sitting around the fire ring at night. The location is perfect and within a very short drive of the park!

Quiet and small little cottage extremely clean and tidy even under the furniture. It had a nice little stream right on the other side of the driveway. Our dog particularly enjoyed rolling in cool grassy lawn!

Relaxing getaway

Had a wonderful time at this cosy cabin. Plenty of blankets but never even needed the heat. Sat around the fire it was so relaxing. All the modern conveniences made our stay very comfortable. We went hiking and celebrated a birthday at a fancy restaurant in Abingdon. Fall colors were spectacular.

We enjoyed our stay

We stayed for just on night. The cabin was nice, it's a nice old cabin, floors were squeaky and loud, but I guess that added to the charm. The only complaint is the twin beds were as hard as a rock, felt like laying on plywood. Seeing the devastation in the area was also heartbreaking. The location was perfect for us to enjoy our family in Grassy Creek.

When we arrived, the password that we were given was incorrect. There were two of us that spent close to 30 minutes, trying to figure it out. There was no Internet service, no cell service, so there was no way to communicate with anyone. The refrigerator made a loud noise, the kitchen light was flickering,, there was a strong order throughout the house. There were plenty of notes what not to do, but no information of how to reach the owner or Vrbo. I’ve never left a one star review. We spent a fair amount of money. We didn’t stay the evening because we didn’t feel safe not being able to communicate with anyone.

Grayson Highlands pony viewing

The gray cabin was cute, comfortable and conveniently close to Grayson Highlands State Park. I saw many ponies, including famous Fabio. Picturesque Big Wilson Creek is next door to the cabin. The mountains are beautiful. The people at the two general stores are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
