A cozy + 2000sq feet home at Northstar Resort, perfect for 2 families for your next mountain vacation! Everything you need is here, no need to bring anything along. Pull into the easy access level driveway with room for 4 cars, or pull all the way into the attached garage. Step into the large mudroom with plenty of storage for all your gear. On the main floor you'll find a nicely appointed kitchen which opens to the dining room and living room with vaulted ceilings. The open floor plan is great for entertaining, and the dining room seats 6 comfortably with another 3 seats at the kitchen bar. From the dining room step out onto the deck and large backyard with a great sledding hill for the kids in the winter (sleds provided), and in the summer enjoy the Weber gas grill and dine al fresco under the pine trees. In the living room enjoy a 50 inch big screen HDTV as well as beautiful views of the golf course. Also on the first floor is one of 2 master suites with a queen size bed, 32 inch HDTV and attached full bath, a bunkroom with 2 full size bunk beds along with a twin bed to sleep 5 total, and another half bath in the hallway. The washer and dryer are on this floor as well, and access to the attached 2 car garage. On the second floor is the larger master suite with a king size bed, 40 inch HDTV, and huge master bath with double sinks, jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Next to the master bedroom is a bright and sunny play area for the kids with another TV, books, games and toys. There's also an air hockey table up here. This is a nice area to sleep extra kids on a blow up mattress. There's also a cute bonus sleeping alcove with 2 twin beds, suitable for smaller children. Cable, Amazon Firestick & Wi-Fi are provided throughout the house and the garage has a foosball table and couch which is a nice place to relax.

The location on Basque is great for easy access to the golf course and Minor's Camp daycare. The Northstar shuttle is available on demand, and will pick you up at your door and take you to the Village within minutes, where you'll find skiing, several restaurants, ice skating rink, Starbucks, and more. Take the Highlands Gondola up to the Ritz Carlton for drinks or dinner! Or head to the Rec Center for a workout at the full gym, then enjoy the pool and hot tubs. In the summer there's tennis as well! Everything is here for a vacation you'll never forget.

Family ski trip

We had a wonderful stay. The house was well appointed and perfectly located at Northstar with easily accessible shovels to the ski lift. North stars Are excellent place for family skiing. Our host was responsive immediately to any requests and very helpful. I highly recommend this location at home.

A great cottage

Stayed with family friends (4 adults 5 kids) plenty of room. Quaint. On shuttle route. Ro was amazing to work with and he moved up the check in process to accommodate travel during bad weather. Highly recommend.

Perfect size and great location

The home had everything we needed and was the perfect size for us. We loved how the kitchen opened up to the dining room and living room so it felt like we had a lot of space. We had some small children so we were able to cook in the kitchen while still keeping an eye on the kids in the living room. The mud room was perfect during the winter. We were able to keep all of our snow gear in the room. We had plenty of room to play and sled in the backyard, which we did on the day it snowed and did not want to drive around. On one of the other days, we went to North Star and used the shuttle service which was extremely convenient and fast. We used the app which showed us how far a shuttle was from us. Ro was extremely helpful and proactive. He provided us with up to date weather information and responded quickly whenever we had a question. He was extremely accommodating.

Wonderful Northstar Stay

Our family had a great time in this home. The owner is a genial host and was responsive to any questions we had. This home is well-stocked with appliances, condiments, supplies, and dinnerware. No shortages were noted. The patio is comfortable and easy to relax in. It leads to an outdoor area that is safe for young children to explore and play in. It is conveniently located to the Northstar Rec Center and Village which we enjoyed. I heartily recommend this home for fun, relaxation, and a great Tahoe stay.

Charming mountain house w/ hot tub, shuttle, near skiing and more!

We came to snowboarding and the location near the village made the place ideal. It is dated and the furnishings seem to date back to the ‘80s, but it was very comfortable. We were enjoying hot tub and everything. Overall, a very nice place and we all had a wonderful time.

Perfect Tahoe getaway with everything we needed!

We had a group of 4 adults and 3 kids and had plenty of space to spread out, especially with the open loft area. The kids loved the loft game area, plus all of the toys/games to check out. The kitchen was a hit for the adults with tons of great cookware, spices, etc. It felt like cooking at home! The hot tub was so nice to relax in after skiing, and the wood burning fireplace kept it warm and cozy inside. Super easy garage / driveway access, and the shuttle made transportation so convenient. The beds were really comfortable and house layout gave everyone enough space. Overall everything was perfect, and Ro was an unbelievable host - nicest we've ever had! He helped us navigate our stay with a blizzard and was super responsive and helpful. Thank you, Ro! Can't wait for our next stay!!!

Christmas 2021

Amazing rental, loved the charm this place provided! And when I say stocked it had everything we needed and then some. Beds were very comfortable, Hot tub was a lifesaver, back yard had a great sledding hill. Our family of 5 and 2 grandparents were more than comfortable. We were caught up in quite the storm over the Christmas holiday, Ro was nice enough to let us check in early and stay an extra day with all that went on, our family was so appreciative. Although Northstar was closed due to all the snow.. we were able to make it there in no time and we’re about to park before we found out they weren’t opening 🤣. It’s that close !!! Thanks again for an amazing Christmas experience our family will never forget!!!

Family summer vacation

This property was great for 2 families. 4 adults and 3 children. Plenty of space for all of us. The back deck with the hot tub was very relaxing. This house is in a quiet area and very close to many fun outdoor activities the area has to offer. We also enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at the Northstar Rec Center. We would love to come back.

Wonderful Home!

On a last minute emergency, we contacted the owner of the home through VRBO and he immediately responded and offered the home as soon as we needed. Very responsive and when we arrived around the time that we told him, he called to make sure that we were settled and that the home was in good condition. The home was absolutely beautiful, perfect for our family and had plenty of room! Great location, beautiful views and the hot tub was incredible. We will absolutely be back.

A Gem At Northstar

This is a great house for families. Kids had so much fun. And it was very clean & comfortable. Check in was easy and Wow, What a Wonderful location right on the golf course and just steps to the Northstar village. We went rollerskating and mountain biking at Northstar and hung out in the village. The house was so close and it was so easy. Ro is a Very helpful owner. We Would definitely come back again.

Great for 2 families during ski week

Well-stocked house that is great for 2 families. The flat driveway is great when it's snowy and icy out. We used the fireplace and kids loved the bunk room. Hot tub was unfortunately not working while we were there, but owner was responsive and tried to get a technician out. Generally clean and well kept with the exception of the chaise lounge in the living room, which had a lot of dog hair on it (an FYI for those with allergies, which luckily we didn't). Great sledding hill in the back if you're willing to hike up and down, and overall we had a great stay!

Great Family Vacation Home

My family and I spent the week before Christmas at 143 Basque skiing and snowboarding at Northstar resort. This vacation home is in excellent condition, well-maintained, and has three bedrooms. There is a spacious kitchen and dining area. The wood stove was an added benefit warming the living room on those cold winter nights. The Northstar shuttle picks you up at the door and runs all day so it is easy to get to the slopes without having to hassle with driving and parking every time you want to leave the house. The property is maintained by the owner and he was easy to communicate with when making our reservation.

Lovely home near the golf course in Northstar

This home was the perfect size for our family of four (parents and two adult sons). The foosball table in the garage was a HUGE hit and kept us entertained for hours!!! This was our first VRBO experience and everything about it was easy.
