Northstar Lodge by Welk Resorts is part of a ski-in/gondola-out private club with its own gondola. Resort amenities include an owner’s lounge, media theater, ski and boot valet (winter) and bike valet (summer), a large outdoor spa and fireplace area, and access to the adjacent Village Swim and Fitness Center. Just across the street in the Village, find specialty boutiques, bars, restaurants, cafés, open-air ice rink (roller skating in summer), cabanas, outdoor fire pits and a bungee trampoline.

The 2 BR Master bedroom has a king-sized bed. The guest bedroom also has a king-size Ltd bed. We The spacious living room has a comfortable queen sleeper sofa, a fireplace, 40” TV with surround sound and DVD player. The fully-equipped kitchen has state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances. There is a Dining area and Individual heat controls for all areas. A Private balcony overlooks Northstar Village and has an outdoor fireplace. There's a Washer/Dryer, In-room safe and many other amenities. Everything at Welk Resorts is top of the line. Even the sofa beds are comfortable.

This review sums up what you will experience: We were overwhelmed at the great, very large condos, the Outstanding service and wonderful staff. The places were clean and had fabulous appliances (Viking) and more-than-adequate kitchen utensils. The condos even have humidifiers - a real plus in the dry winter air. All the bedrooms and living rooms have Blu-Ray players. The sound insulation is superb, never heard bothersome noise from outside or other rooms. We rented but were treated like "owners" by the excellent front desk staff. Another plus: They have a 19 seat private theater that can be reserved for 2-3 hours so you can watch your own DVD's or one of their movies. We have stayed at many resort condos and these were the best ever.
