Accommodation In Tsunoshima Island

Should you choose to spend some time in Tsunoshima Island, do think about pre-booking a room as early as possible, because you won't find a huge range of hotel choices near the downtown area.

Tsunoshima Island is not exactly renowned as being the accommodation capital of Chugoku, however the Hotel Nishi-Nagato Resort is close enough to the CBD to keep most travellers happy.

Tsunoshima Island is well known for the Yamaguchi Prefectural Museum of Art. The Hotel Nishi-no-Miyabi Tokiwa and Green Rich Hotel Yamaguchi Yuda Onsen are options you can choose from in the area.

After you've checked out Tsunoshima Island for a while, be sure to set aside a few more days to discover Chugoku's other delights. Chugoku offers beaches, coastal plains and mountains. Popular Chugoku tourist draws include the ruins and castles. In this region of Japan, travellers may try their hand at snowboarding, skiing and mountain climbing.

An alternative place to spend the night is Yamaguchi, which is 60 kilometres to the southeast of the heart of Tsunoshima Island. Here is where you'll find the Yamaguchi University, Koujin Shrine to the Warrior God and Yamaguchi College of Arts. Places to stay in Yamaguchi include the Hotel Nishi-no-Miyabi Tokiwa and Green Rich Hotel Yamaguchi Yuda Onsen.

Are you a crazy sports nut? Enjoy your obsession by visiting Fukuoka Dome, 95 kilometres to the southwest of Tsunoshima Island. Those sports fans wishing to find accommodation nearby can take their choice from the Weekly Mansion Bayside or the Hotel Hakata Place.

This place was something like an upscale motel 6. They don’t include tooth brushes but they have them for purchase at the front desk. There is a 7-11 right next door for food options. I stayed with my 3 kids nice small and cozy though inside. We brought out fire stick so we were able to relax and watch a movie in English.
