Splendid apartment in centuries old Provence farmhouse

The two-floor apartment is part of a large farmhouse split into nine units. Restored in 2016-2017, the apartment has retained old features whilst benefitting from state-of-the-art appliances. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms each with its own toilet, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms each sleep two persons.

The apartment shares with the other units a large swimming pool (7m x 15m), built of stone, that opens at Easter.

The farmhouse is set in vineyards and lavender fields, dotted with picturesque villages and intersected by paths and virtually deserted roads. The region is ideal for hiking and cycling.

Ancient towns and villages such as Grignan, Vaison-la-Romain and Orange are within a a 30-minute drive. Avignon, Nîmes, Arles, Marseille and Saint-Rémy are close enough for a day-trip, as is the Côte d'Azur.

Peaceful Provence

The property is in a less-visited area of Provence which isn't overrun with tourists. We were lucky because when we stayed only one of the other apartments was occupied so it was really quiet. Inside the apartment is as shown in the photos and the outside area looks the same too. The pool is large (although you have to get used to the colour!) and the water's very clean. The only downside is the water pressure, which means the showers are a bit under-powered, but that isn't a big deal. In all a comfortable and pleasant stay. Thank you.

Appartement très agréable

L'appartement est très agréable, au milieu des champs et des vignes. Nous avons vraiment apprécié de pouvoir emmener nos chiens avec nous. Ils ont autant profité de l'environnement que nous. On pourrait avoir avoir l'impression d'être isolé, mais ce n'est pas le cas, les magasins ne sont pas très loin et le bons vignerons non plus !
