Stayed in a cabin and it was probably nice 15 years ago. The place was dirty and had a musky smell. Mattress are worn out and didn't provide a good night's sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The lodge has a unique character and a small-town feel. I enjoyed my one night there, as I embarked on a 3-day road trip. I arrived mid-week, so the restaurant wasn’t open (weekend only). The desk recommended Papa Ron's Italian down the road -- I recommend it, too. All in all, I was comfortable and enjoyed a good night's sleep.

Smokehouse inn is a rustic hotel that could use some upgrades. We were there Thursday through Saturday midday and they never were able to get the Internet connected. Not a huge deal just a little frustrating. The folks at the desk were very friendly and seemed to want to help but didn’t have a IT team in place to fix the problem.

We loved the views from our cabin, the bird calls and greenery of spring. The others staying near us were polite and quiet. The only problem we had was with the door keys/cards. They did not work. Once the maintenance person had to come and help us.

Smokehouse cabin

Interesting place. We rented a cabin which had a wood burning fireplace and a hot tub. Unfortunately it had rained for days when we showed up so the wood was all wet and the hot tub was out of order. Would like to go back someday and try again.

Very disappointed

We picked this because of the ratings and the pictures of the rooms. It was run down.. rooms are in need of refurbishing. Lighting was terrible, in need of tlc.. no amenities at all.. The hot water for tea was cold and the coffee was stale at 7 in tue morning. Save your money and go somewhere decent
