Be Tulum was wonderful—the staff, the room, the plunge pool, the spa, the atmosphere, the food—and I loved the free breakfast.
However, there were two, quite large, issues that I did have with the hotel: (1) There were a lot of added-on service "gratuity fees." I was charged a $42 gratuity fee for using the minibar. That was worth more than anything that was in the minibar, which was old and stale; (2) once I added up my bill, after I left, it was incorrect by over $100.
