The apartment is on two floors: On the ground floor, you have a living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and a toilet. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a king-size bed, and the other has a king-size bed or two single beds and a private terrace. You have access to the common areas, garden, and pool. On the rooftop, there's a terrace with a second pool, a relaxation area, and a BBQ. Your four-legged companion is welcome (10 kg or less). Please keep them on a leash while on the property and ensure they are taken outside the property for all their needs.

Casa Mtl Tulum is ideal for people who love adventure and want to immerse themselves in local Mexican life. Our condos are 5 minutes from restaurants, 15 minutes from Tulum town center, and 20 minutes from the beach. We have two one-bedroom apartments and three two-bedroom apartments.

Birthday vacation with granddaughter

This apartment was ideally located between my son and daughter in law’s apartment and the restaurant he works at. All of our immediate needs were within walking distance. We rented a car to transport to and from the airport, to visit Bacalar, the cenote and the beach.

Wonderful La Veleta!

We stayed with Josh and Mario for 9 days. This allowed us to venture out comfortably with a wonderful home to return to. The compound is lovely - 2 pools - lovely gardens - spacious accommodations - comfortable beds! But even more important - and because Josh and Mario live on site - they were very attentive to our needs and it was wonderful interacting with them every day. They are delightful hosts. Our only issue was finding the place at the beginning. The streets of Tulum can be like a rabbits warren - but once you do find it, it is an easy and safe walk! Some suggestions for close and local cafes? Delicio serves wonderful breakfasts and mid day meals. Uno is an amazing Japanese Sushi restaurant. La Pabeta is a lovely breakfast and pastry cafe. As well, the area has really good artisanal pizza cafes. In terms of groceries - I used one of the bikes and peddled to the Chedraui store...a very good supermarket! All in all - our trip to Tulum was enhanced by Josh and Mario's kindness and hospitality! So we would not hesitate staying with Josh

Wonderful!!

This is my second time visiting Tulum and Mario’s property made it even more special than I could have hoped! This property was so cute, clean and comfortable! The pool was amazing and it was located in a great spot between downtown but the beach was a bike ride or quick taxi ride away! There were adorable restaurants walking distance and Mario made sure we felt safe and taken care of.

Great for working abroad

My friend and I stayed for six weeks at Mario’s place working virtually and loved it. Close to town (we rented bikes from Mario and rode everywhere), fast internet, pool(s!), and beautiful green space to relax. Mario is a wonderful host and neighbor. The apartment was a great home away from home.

Josh and Mario are dream hosts!

I brought 7 of my closest friends to Tulum to celebrate a milestone birthday and we stayed with Josh and Mario. They are amazing hosts — not only was the space perfect, but they made us feel at home in Tulum! We LOVED the pool, we made great use of the kitchens, and we really appreciated the A/C in the bedrooms at night. Most of all, we appreciated how Josh and Mario were always there to advise us on an afternoon adventure, the best mojito bar in town, or the best corner to hail a taxi from. Truly top notch hosts! I would love to stay with them again.

12/10 Would Stay Again!

Josh and Mario were such fantastic hosts! The unit was clean and furnished with all the supplies we needed for our week-long stay! (Water cooler, kitchen supplies, utensils, spices, towels, first-aid supplies, etc.) The complex is extremely close to town, we walked most of the time, and it was only a quick taxi or bike (for more physically active folks) ride to the beach. The salt pool shared by the units was always clean and always refreshing. They were great about telling us the tips and tricks of Tulum and the “where to be”s. They were extremely understanding when one of our bicycle tires blew up on our way to Cenote Calavera. They retrieved the bikes while we finished our trip to the cenote and had the them fixed up and cleaned like new by the time we returned! The smart TV in the bedroom worked great with streaming and the A/C unit was a true life saver at the end of the day. Overall, Josh and Mario made our vacation easy and incredibly enjoyable. We look forward to returning to Tulum and would definitely stay with them again!

Not worth the money we spent

The 2 bedroom 1 bath and kitchen no living room unit was clean sucefentely equipped, although it had a outdoor patio equipped with table and chairs to use it in the evening was unbearable because of the mosquitos. Sitting around the bar in the kitchen for any length of time was uncomfortable. Pool was a delight but the grass around the pool area close to your patio was sparse. Getting to the beach and the ruins is quite the drive by car definitely not by the bikes provided. Our TV was dead when I ask the owner Mario he told me it wasn't included in the price and became very rude and took away the bicycles the next morning the bicycles were back not that we used them anyway. I wouldn't stay their again.

Oh My goodness this is the best place to stay in the town of Tulum! The pool was wonderful & the accomodations were great. Josh & Mario are very helpful in finding new place to explore. I will say I was sad about the seaweed in the water but that will go away soon. We had a chance to visit more cento's & explore the ruins. I love Tulum so much & this place made it extra special. I can't wait to go back next sumer with my family. Chris & Christine TX

A lovely spot in a quieter part of Tulum but still close to everything.

Our 2-bedroom apartment was a good size with a kitchen that had everything you might need. The highlight was the lovely covered outside terrace with eating and sitting areas that merges into the courtyard with the swimming pool. Clever landscaping still gives you privacy. The pool is a good size for a small property. The owners live on site and were friendly, helpful and had some good tips on local activities and restaurants. It is easy to access the main street in Tulum, the beach road or the highway for day trips.

Bien au delà du confort...

Si la gentillesse et le sourire des propriétaires avaient été soulignés dans tous les commentaires ces derniers mois ( c'était d'ailleurs le critère qui nous avait fait choisir cette location ) ... alors que dire de leurs qualités dans les récentes circonstances compliquées que nous avons vécues, avec cette menace Covid-19 ! Ils ont été absolument parfaits ! Leur soutien et leur sourire, dans un cadre tellement agréable, nous ont permis de vivre avec tranquillité, les moments précédant notre retour compliqué en France. Mario et Jocelyn ... de belles personnes que nous avons eu la chance de connaître.

Fantastic 3 week stay.

Amazing hosts Mario & Josh. Nous venons de passer 18 jours à la Casa MTL et nous sommes enchantés. Les prestations sont encore mieux que sur les photos , on se sent comme à la maison ... Josh et Mario sont très sympas, toujours disponibles sans être intrusifs . Le prêt des vélos est très appréciable . Nous recommanderons cette location à toutes nos connaissances qui comme nous veulent fuire les grosses structures touristiques. 👍
