Unique hotel with nice rooms with balconies looking out to the main square. The rooms and bathrooms are little run down. For the price this hotel is excellent and is in a great location. Breakfast buffet is a typical MENA hotel breakfast; cheese, meats, salad and pastries.

Ideally placed at the border of the Medina, convenient restaurant in the first floor, antique elevator, very helpful and friendly staff. No hot water in the shower but room was clean, air conditioning was great, small balcony wonderful for watching people in the plaza

AC in the room does not work well . I told the front desk but it is is still not fixed. The room temperature is 30 Celsius when we checked in . After 1 night the room temperature is at 28 Celsius! I hope it will fixed for the next guest.

Royal Victoria is just so beautiful! It is located right at the entrance of a busy market, walking distance to many restaurants and servicves. The staff members are always warm and nice. Their hotel restaurant serves very good food, we ate there every day. I highly recommend the hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The decor is very pretty, the location is excellent—close to the airport, the Medina, and other key spots—and it’s very walkable. The staff were kind and accommodating, and the breakfast (which is included) was a nice bonus. The room had good water pressure, which is always appreciated. That said, there is some room for improvement. The hotel could benefit from better attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness. For example, sometimes the garbage can was missing a liner, and the balcony wasn’t always cleaned. The room itself felt a bit worn—lots of marks on the walls and in need of a fresh coat of paint. It could really use a little update and some repairs to give it a more refreshed feel. The same goes for the common areas, like the hallways and dining room. Some repainting and upkeep would go a long way. Also, in the dining area, it would be better if the placemats were cleaned or replaced after each guest. Overall, it’s a nice hotel with friendly staff and a great location, but a bit more care in cleanliness and maintenance would make it even better.
