Convenient location and housekeeping did a good job tidying room but…No wi-fi. Stained furniture in room. Lobby locked - all interaction through outside glass window like drive-thru window. When I went to check out in morning I could not find a desk clerk so I had to leave and call later to sort out check out. Would not recommend.

Rooms are clean, decent, but you can hear everything happening outside & in your neighboring rooms. The person checking me in had no idea how to do it & had to call the owner to figure out my pet deposit, which room to put me in, how to get my key going, etc. I spent a good 15-20 minutes just checking in. Then apparently the owner told whoever was helping me to inform me I need to keep my dog off the bed because it’s not a pet room… I understand why… but I’m literally paying a pet deposit for a pet friendly room. When I finally got to my room, after I unloaded my car, got ice, etc… I realized the door wasn’t locking (I had left it ajar while unpacking and hadn’t noticed). I called the front desk to mention it & the guy said, “oh I guess the lock is broke, just use the deadbolt.” In the morning around 6:30am, I brought my dog outside & when we got back to the room it was actually locked. I had grabbed my room key out of habit… but it didn’t work. I went down to the office & tried ringing the bell several times, went for a walk, came back & tried ringing it again, nothing. I went back to try my door & key again with no luck. Decided to knock on a neighbors’ door to ask if they could call the front desk for me, they so graciously did, but no one answered at the front desk. I needed to leave soon, so I thought I’d try my door again & give a little more oomph since it wasn’t even locking properly the night before, & it popped open with a firm push. Shoulda just done that.

I did not like that I had to check in through a window while the staff was eating. I did not like that I would have to put down a $50 deposit that would be returned. This is normal; however, I was notified of this at check-in, not when booking. I did not like that the lobby never opened; there is a sign in the door “Ring bell for service.” I actually videos my room when leaving because I felt like the management would keep the $50 deposit and blame me for something. I would not recommend this establishment.

I don't normally stay at motels with outdoor entries but due to the town being fully booked this was my only option. I was very pleasently surprised. The facility was well lighted, the room was clean, the sheets were white not dingy.
