Do not book this apartment! We had a terrible experience from the start to the early end of our stay here. To start off, we arrived to find the keys were missing to access the apartment. There was minimal communication regarding what the reason for this was and when we would expect to be able to check in. After nearly an hour of waiting in the heat, the host finally dropped the keys off. After climbing four steep stair cases hauling our luggage up, we opened the front door to be met with an extremely strong stench of cigarettes as if someone had just put one out in the apartment. The whole apartment was quite unclean. For example, the floor was sticky in places and my socks turned brown after walking around. The toilet had not been cleaned or even flushed properly. The main issue then became the water supply. The shower water did not warm up even after following limited instructions from the host. When we returned to the apartment after a long hot day, we found that the water supply had completely stopped and we could not shower, bathe, shave or brush our teeth. We reached out to the host regarding this issue but had absolutely no help or concern from them regarding the poor standards of their property. The host was then extremely uncooperative and did not want to provide a refund, even though the apartment became unliveable. We had to leave and find somewhere else to stay for the following night. I would never recommend even considering to stay here!
