We loved the beach! The hotel is clean, beds are comfortable, and we felt safe! The staff was friendly and accommodating. However, this is a public access beach, so it’s very crowded. We also had to smell A LOT of pot/weed smoking at the beach, in the public parking lot behind the hotel, on the pier, and in the hotel elevator. It was so strong it gave us a headache. And it was for the duration of the whole trip. I know the hotel can’t control what happens at the public access beach, but maybe get some cops to patrol the beach/area a little more. Also, nearby Savannah was sketchy and no longer the beautiful, historical place I remember. Other than that, we loved the beach and the hotel.

Location is excellent. Check in was easy, and the woman was very nice. Our room had complimentary beach chairs, and towels, which was VERY convenient as we flew into Georgia and couldn't bring chairs with us. They also offered bicycles we could use around town. Beds were comfy and the building/room were clean. Rooms do seem to have a dampness issue (Floor always felt wet, and bathroom had some rust) but we definitely appreciated that the room had a refrigerator AND microwave! We only visited one of the two pools, but it was very clean and nice! We would definitely stay here again

Overall not a bad hotel

No restaurant on site. Definitely a little rundown. Needs a good cleaning. I do understand it is a beach hotel so it’s hard to keep clean. All the staff was very friendly, except for one housekeeper, which I don’t remember her name. Staff was very helpful. On-site parking is a plus, but there is a fee. Walking distance to the beach was nice.

DO NOT STAY HERE. IT HAS BEEN A DISASTER FROM CHECK IN TO CHECK OUT. THERE IS ZERO HOUSE KEEPING. THEY’LL TAKE TOWELS, ETC BUT WON’T REPLACE THEM. MADE THE BED ONCE FOR A 5 NIGHT STAY. VENDING MACHINES TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT NEVER GIVE YOU ITEM. FRONT DESK EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE AND LESS THAN HELPFUL. THERE ARE BETTER CHOICES IN TYBEE. THEY HAVE ZERO PRIDE IN THIS PROPERTY.
