I felt home away from home. Dilek and her staff treated me like a family. Property is clean and the rooms are gorgeous. Turkish breakfast was great and delicious. She arranged all the tours and they were all excellent. Her terrace was out late night entertainment where we shared Turkish coffee and wine. I had the best time among friends there. I will come back for sure.

Generally nice with a bit of attitude issue
The room was nice, creative / rustic decors, can see their paying attn to details, breakfast is so so, location is convenient, with nice view on the balcony, just 1 lady charge me for 3rd blt of water even i stayed for 2 nights, and she was a bit pushy in asking for additional charge items like green / red tour. The older guy is much better.

Amazing hotel! The owner is great! He was able to book us the transport from the airport, a really amazing tour and also a Turkish dinner. The room is beautiful, super clean, and with hot water. We had an awesome time in Castle Inn!

A great place with friendly staff
Castle Inn is the perfect base of operations for exploring Cappadocia. The staff is super friendly and go to great lengths to make the place feel like home. The breakfast was amazing, and in the room you have free water/soda. One note: The place was not exactly where the Google Map pin shows, so if you're arriving with your own car like we were, it's a good idea to contact the staff and set up a place to meet in advance. Unless you like wandering around the small, steep alleys of the picturesque village asking around for directions, that is :)

Excellent stay! This is a unique hotel owned and operated by excellent people with whom you can have intellectual conversations about the culture, history, people and dynamics of the Cappadocia and beyond. The hotel/castle is in excellent shape and service is second to none. The complementary breakfast is rich and delicious. We have felt home and enjoyed our stay. It is located in Ortahisar town (less than two miles from the Goreme Open Air Museum) which is small town with excellent food (Better than touristic restaurants in Goreme). Highly Recommended!

How hospitality should be done. Wonderful!
I still smile when I think of our (too-short) time here. Suat is an incredible host and a genuinely warm and friendly, and very funny, person. He greeted us like family, over a tasty breakfast (we had arrived very early from an overnight bus). Our room and the whole hotel was incredible, like a cosy yet grand medieval castle. It's decorated with style and a little eccentricity, which suited the atmosphere too. The rooftop terrace was a great place to relax after sightseeing as it overlooked the hills and the nearby rock 'castle' (a wonderfully weird sight) and we spent a very enjoyable time there chatting and socialising with the other guests and Suat, who was always happy to help and full of great info. The balloon trip was a highlight of Cappadocia yet so was Castle Inn. I can't recommend it strongly enough for people who like people. Didn't think I'd be hugging any Turkish hoteliers on my travels, but I happily embraced Suat with genuine warmth and sadness when we left. What a great stay, perhaps our best after 9 months on the road. (thanks too to Ahmed, the manager, who helped us no end with tickets and was equally warm and friendly)
