The terrace apartment was exquisite! Everything about it was exceptional including furnishings, mattress comfort, space, full laundry room, gorgeous bathrooms and more. The view from the apartment is dreamy - looking out toward the base of the mountain with ideal aspens and evergreens, this week snow covered and picturesque. We loved being on the terrace level because we had our own external entrance where we would walk to dinner or shopping. The service of the Ritz staff was 10/10. The ski valet was phenomenal, even hand delivering my skis to me one day. The shuttle was great, bell hop service was the best we’ve ever had. This stay is beyond the 5 stars. Thank you for such a wonderful home away from home in beautiful Vail!

We had an absolutely amazing stay in Vail! The property was exactly as described—beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. The location was perfect, making it easy to enjoy all that Vail has to offer while still feeling like a peaceful retreat at the end of the day.The space was spotless upon arrival, the beds were incredibly comfortable. The host was responsive, helpful, and made the entire process seamless from check-in to check-out. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Vail!

We have stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Vail many times and enjoy it very much. The communication with this property management company was not as good as past years with others as they ignored some requests. Also, we have always enjoyed a welcome basket with coffee for the first day when renting at this level which wasn’t done this time. I would also point out that this unit is in the back of the property in the basement which wasn’t clear to us. Overall a good vacation and nice condo and facility.

Not A Great Lodging Choice
Everyone who took care of us during our stay were absolutely wonderful. Very nice amenities too. BUT the primary bedroom mattress was worn out 20 years ago. And forget about WiFi connections. This condo is located below the pool level so it is not as bright as the pictures show. Lastly, the sitting area is very small.

Lovely Property
Wonderful property, great for two couples. The kitchen was well supplied (we did not cook there, just used the refrig & coffee maker) very well furnished with a nice balcony and seating to enjoy the beautiful weather. The Ritz amenities are very nice, the gym is amazing. Wished we had stayed longer to enjoy everything they had to offer. The shuttle bus was very convenient as the property is on the far end of Lionshead. Quiet and relaxing!

This property is not what is advertised! I would warn people to book this unit with this company.
This condo was advertised as two queen beds in the second bedroom and one king bed in the master. When we arrived, both rooms had king beds in them. We contacted the property manager and they told us we just needed to get a rollaway bed from the hotel to spend the amount we spent on this condo and I have to have my son sleep on a roll out, bed was unacceptable. Also, the outlets kept going out when trying to blow dry your hair and it took maintenance almost 2 hours to come look it which we missed our dinner reservations. The washing machine was also broken.. They did nothing to compensate us and were unbelievably rude!

Great place for a family
The property is very nice and well-cared for and our unit was great for us. We loved the heated floors in the bathroom. Also, the gym and pool were great. A few things on the con list were that there was no place on site to order coffee and no little convenience store/grab-and-go store. The resort is on the outskirts of Lionshead Village and I wish it was a little closer in. The shuttle was great, however. It did not appear that there were any sustainability efforts in place on the property. There was no place to recycle in our unit, which I consider to be a given at this point and our unit didn't have any food storage containers to save food for another meal.

Stay at the Ritz Residences, Dont book through VRBO
Wonderful property, great pool and staff. The condo itself was the perfect space for our family of 4. having daily housekeeping and the Ritz carlton staff taking care of us was a bonus. however Berkshire never communicated our check in with the Ritz team so when we arrived there was no documentation of our reservation. After traveling for 10 hours with a 2 month old and 2 year old to have to wait in the lobby for 2+ hours for everything to get straightened out really broke our spirit. The Ritz team really came through after multiple pages (you cant even call the Berkshire team directly if you need help) we finally made it in to our room after 6 pm.

Lovely Property with rules
I was very excited to stay at this Ritz, having driven by it several times on the way to the Bachelor Gulch Ritz! The unit itself is just like it is described. Well-appointed with plenty of room for our family of four. The Ritz had many rules, some due to COVID and some, likely just rules of that particular location like no ski boots inside the property at all. Though this property (or any Vail property for that matter) is not ski in/out, the Ski Valet at The Ritz makes it SO EASY to get on mountain. The personnel staffing both slope side and on property were top notch. The unit itself had a few kinks...the coffee maker was broken and I called housekeeping for a replacement, which I was told I needed to call the property manager. It was a Sunday and nobody was staffing the property management office, so I sent an email and it took a bit over 24 hours to get a response, but by then, Housekeeping had already gone ahead and replaced the coffeemaker in the unit. I did later get a positive confirmation from the property manager as well. As an aside, there is no coffee/tea or accoutrements, so it would be nice to have these stocked in the unit rather than asking housekeeping separately to bring them again. I will also add that the service at this Ritz was excellently expedient. Every request we had, whether it was to get our bags, get our skis, ask for more coffee, etc. was handled graciously and quickly.
A couple other things to note, checkout during COVID was changed from 11am to 10am, and the Ritz staff was unable to amend this due to the property being booked through a property manager, BUT another email easily took care of that request.
Lastly, if you are a technology person, the televisions throughout this property are definitely on the older side and small for the space. With the cost of larger (50"+) televisions coming significantly down in price, I might make a recommendation to the owner to upgrade the unit with larger, stream friendly televisions.
All in all, a lovely stay in a lovely unit.

ritz is great property berkshire not responsive
The property mgt didn't return email or phone calls. My specific concerns:
1) no wifi password provided. berkshire didn't return calls. the ritz guest connection doesn't work in terrace unit.
2) master bathroom shower smelled like urine and backed up . called berkshire no answer no return call. the front desk did send someone up to fix drain and I called again to have someone clean the shower. The smell went from a 10 to a 5 and back up to 7 by the next day after the air freshener faded. I also attempted to clean it twice. I ran the vent 24/7 in the bathrooms. I still had to use another shower which was also backed up. The maintenance calls took 2.5 hours of my day.
3) only ritz facility i have ever stayed without USB port. this took another 2 hours to find one going to 3 different places since front desk does not provide for individual rooms.
4) master bed carpet needs to be cleaned if not replaced.
5) hole in baseboard should be fixed.
6) the rental contract you have to sign is at best odd. the check out times are different than the VRBO listing. arbitrary rights to charge guest 25 for each key card not left in room and an unspecified amount for early check in even if the front desk allows early check in and berkshire didn't return emails requesting early check in.
The reason to have a property manger is so the guest doesn't have to waste ski time hours to try and fix the standard issues so disappointed with property mgt.
Outside of the property mgt the place is good. The ritz condos are always nice. Great location and staff is always nice. Valet team is helpful housekeeping staff will provide cleaning if requested. Shuttle service to vail village and lionshead ski valet. Hot tub is really nice. I have stayed at other rooms in the same condo complex and they didn't have the specific issues above so maybe this was just a fluke.
The condo itself is nice. It is very large 2 bedroom unit and is located in the terrace past the gym. Super quiet. The laundry room is very large, there is an entry coat closet (helpful) and you have a full kitchen / dinning room table / living area. There is a large puzzle of vail if you have time. The master bath is updated and has a steam shower (didn't use) and large tub. The master closet is huge. Nice fireplace in living room. There are 2 temp controls - master bed and living room. There is a nice walk out patio to access from living area and master bedroom.

great, but.....
The location and actual space was lovely. The mattress in the master bedroom is ancient and unbearable. My husband and I are early 40’s in good shape and never have issues w sleeping. The mattress was so terrible my husband slept in the couch. I would rent this space again ONLY if the mattress was replaced. Also important to note the property management would not return phone calls or emails. I’d suggest the owners hire someone else. Berkshire Hathaway was NOT professional or responsive.
