Filthy Dirty

Our first room was like a smoke pit - heavy smoke odour even though a 'non smoking' property. Smoking ash tray was 3 feet from the door. Moved to a 2nd room and it was, disgustingly dirty. Neither room was similar to the photos shown on Hotels.com, in any way. We did not stay and left to find another property. Extremely disappointing for a Sandman branded property.

Staff member at the front desk was very helpful The price did not reflect the quality of the room. I booked a kitchenette and was surprised to find that there was no dish soap although I went to the desk and was quickly given some. There was no sink stopper and I was told that none existed. The power in our room failed. A call to the office and it was restored. This hotel is not cleaned to my idea of cleanliness and the hotel seems to be deteriorating. Over priced!

First time staying at this hotel. The front desk staff were super friendly. We arrived early and only had to wait 5 min for us to get into a room. Had supper at the restaurant at was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was for a small place. The staff at the restaurant was also super friendly. I forgot my purse in the restaurant and our server had safely placed it behind the counter until we came back for it. The stay here was good.

The rooms need a much needed upgrade. Steam-cleaning the carpets would be a start as our room smelled of cigarette smoke and the carpets were dirty. The extractor fan in the bathroom was so noisy that it was sure to bother the rooms around us.

The bed was clean and bathroom clean. Carpets were dirty with obvious spilt and dried (?) on it. Window sills dirty with no screen when opening to allow fresh air in. Wine bottle and beer cans on property near our room. Unkempt dumpster across from our room entrance. Battery operated smoke detector went off at 4:30 in the morning. Not a pace I would return to.

Exterior door and interior doors were scuffed and dirty around the handles. The entrance sidewalk to the room is missing concrete and untidy. The room had a musty smell.

We thought the room was very nice with a very nice kitchenette. The Greek Salad in the restaurant (Tony’s Grill) was excellent with fresh vegetables!

The smoke alarm had been taken from the room and that was very disconcerting. The little fridge froze all my fresh fruit. The room was clean and adequate. There was no telephone in the room which was a little strange but not a huge concern.

Nice peaceful stay

A good hotel on the main road in the middle of nowhere, very quiet and peaceful with a nice restaurant attached. Great service from all the staff but the room we were in could do with a little uplift, nothing major just a stiff door and cover missing from the aircon.

Excellent friendly check in. Clean room but mattress was like mush. Bathroom fan partly disassembled. Room door missing trim and deadbolt latch hook. Various noises throughout night ie AC and outside. Property lot rough. Dated property trying to keep up. Ive stayed there years ago and it was much better. Budget priced for general area. I will pay & stay at higher property in future. Restaurant attached was separate ownership. Food there was excellent, well priced and good portions. Service was excellent.
