Great location, responsive landlord
This was a great location as it’s right above a small grocery store and a coffee shop. It’s within walking distance of all the must see places, our favorite being the Central Market. We were able to make coffee in the mornings almost every day and washed a few loads of laundry as well. There are some mosquitos nearby, so if you’re sensitive to that, buy some repellent or an electrical insert that emits eucalyptus scent. I also had a fan blowing on me at night (fan provided in unit) and doing these three things seemed to work for me. We enjoyed going to the dive bar, Monterey, across the street for a few beers too. The landlord let us have a late checkout for a small fee, which helped us store our things until our departure.

Had lovely stay in a clean bright apartment.
Location is great and within easy walking distance to lots of sights.
