It is an older style motel from the street; however, the inside had been completely redone, up to date; very clean. Rooms smelled clean. They have separate rooms for people traveling with pets. Liked the doors opening to the outside. Outside area with nice trees and play area for children.

Nice motel

We only stayed one night because the bed was too hard for our backs. But the staff treated us awesome in spite of cutting our stay short. The rooms are clean. And it's a convenient location.

This is a bare bones hotel. There aren't a lot of options in the area for hotels and this one is probably the best, unfortunately. It smelled like clorox which is the smell of many sketchy motels. The motel will do but don't expect much. There is plenty of parking for trucks and trailers.

Breakfast was the best part of my stay. A nice spread! Staff were very nice as well. Room was ok, the door jam was pretty beat up and the safety lock fell out of the frame. The bed was ok. The walls are thin as I could hear the neighboring guests conversation plan as day. Overall, a classic older motel.

The pictures on the website make it look a lot nicer than it is. The bed was terrible, awful uncomfortable, and everything was pretty dirty. The restroom in the lobby was filthy.

not sure if you hired a professional photographer, or a realtor to take your pictures, but there should be a warning "room may appear larger than it seems". Plaster peeling off the walls, towel rack falling off the wall, very noisy/rattling ac unit. The mini fridge was very dated, actually has been yellowing (from white) from what appears to have bee some time.... if you like having the vanity w/ the rest of the bathroom so you can close the door w/out disturbing anyone you are traveling with, this is NOT the place. Now, on to the bed....the springs may hold you up, but the whole bed moves like crazy when someone gets up and out. The sheets were not comfortable/soft. Now, the room was clean, as much as it could be, hardwood floors seemed clean anyway. Bathroom, and the vanity outside the bathroom seemed clean. However, the room did smell, so thankfully we had some spray we could spray in there to help. IF I was to be in Valentine, NE again, I would probably look for a different facility. If I would have booked this for multiple nights, I would have switched hotels, but was just here for 1 night.

When we walked into the room it smelled like urine. The 'deluxe' breakfast consisted of toast and there was a waffle maker. OJ was warm and coffee was horrible. We went elsewhere to eat.
