The hotel is consistently a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable and I slept very well. We enjoyed the courtyard, watching the birds in a relaxed setting. The only part of our stay that wasn't excellent was our dining experience.

We enjoy staying at historic hotels. This one is a gem with a great restaurant attached and a staff who enjoy their work. The hotel has a nice courtyard to enjoy a drink.

The hotel is fine. The loud traffic and train right out front of the hotel was insane. The trains horn blew multiple times during the night making for a horrible nights sleep. The breakfast was good. I only had a bagel but the selection was good.

Beautiful hotel in an almost forgotten town - very friendly staff, great rooms and a very good bar and restaurant. We had a room with patio which was nice - almost identical to the Paisano Hotel in Marfa - but i would say the Restaurant in El Capitan is better!
