Staff was limited, one person. She was all about rules. Must be they've had problems. Room was clean and updated. Parking was free. Stairway and balcony to rooms were dirty, railing needed paint. Best thing was the ocean view, right on the ocean. Big window in kitchenette.Older motel yet the price was reasonable. Took some great pictures of the high tide and the large arched rock was awesome.

Overall the hotel is clean and staff were nice. It was quiet even though they were sold out. Late checkout is an extra $15 and a bottle of wine was over $50. Beds were comfortable and parking was good

Dont use a debt card they will hold your money way longer then the "released" when you check out. And no it wasnt my bank that was holding it. I called my bank and the system said best western was holding it. I called BW customer service not the hotel and said the same thing. The front desk when i arrived said it didnt matter if i used a debt or credit card for the accidental hold. Also if you have OCD dont go here the paneling for the elevator is looks like something from a tim burton movie. Same with the electric plug fixtures and other items around the hotel. After 10pm they didnt enforce the quiet time with children running up and down the hallways, drunk guest extremely loud in the hallways, loud music blasting. If you go to get some sleep for your next leg of your road trip or an important meeting the next day. Dont go here. For a lot of money room stay. Not worth it. Also right now in September 2025 they are doing construction around the hotel, dont use gps to get there. There are small detour signs that take you down and around the convention center and boat ramp to enter in the back of the hotel.
