After traveling all day it was such a relief to have a comfortable and VERY clean place to rest our heads for the night before catching the ferry to the island in the morning. The location is excellent with many options to shop and restaraunts to chose from, not to mention it is in a quiet clean neighborhood. Our host was excellent and very attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed and more. I would definitely stay at the Raj Mahal again.

Overall the stay was fine, but the listing was misleading. It doesn’t mention anywhere that this is a basement unit, and we only found out when we arrived. Had this been disclosed upfront, we would have rated this 4/5 — the space itself was decent — but the lack of transparency about the unit type affected our experience and is something future guests should know before booking.
