The Sonder is a good, inexpensive option in a place like Vancouver. What I did not like is that this is one of those places that do a super late check-in at 4 PM. Any earlier and you have to pay. They also do not clean your room every day, charging a cleaning fee instead, which is not clearly stated on Expedia's listing. ("Housekeeping on request" is not very clear.) It felt a little bit like being nickel and dimed for every little thing. The lobby is not staffed so you never really see anyone who works there. Don't expect that hotel experience here! Other than that, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, the shower pressure was good, the toiletries were very nice, and the location is walking distance to a lot of good restaurants.

The property is in a prime location in the West End. Lots of grocery stores nearby, and plenty of amenities. Safe and simple check-in and check-out. Room maybe could have done with a safe for valuables, but other than this small note, we had a really good, enjoyable stay at Sonder.

Once I go out of the Expedia room and into a proper room, it was the best stay ever! Highly recommend for any type of travel business or pleasure. It's very quiet as there is no staff or bar in the lobby. Greta places to sit there as well. A walk to one of the best sunsets in the city!

The suite is located above a working station. I could hear jumbling & movement below for the entirety of the day. The heating system had a bizarre scent. Overall, not worth the price.

Easy to get around town from the hotel location. The place could use a designated smoking area that would be more comfortable than standing outside away from the hotel. The room could use more storage/shelf space. There are no coat hooks, pretty much have to live out of your suitcase for a longer stay! We were there for almost 3 weeks. Probably OK for a very short stay.

Have stayed in numerous Sonder properties and enjoy the set up. This was one where the guest cabinet in the lobby lacks some essentials. Conceptually the idea works however often is abused by greedy people who leave others short. Aside from that this property is great! EXPEDIA could enhance the details but that is often a shortfall personally when looking for certain amenities and location information above else
