Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Hotel Rialto and would definitely return. The hotel is traditional Venetian style and felt very authentic. It is a little faded in parts but this adds to its charm. If you are looking for a modern contemporary hotel it probably isn’t for you but if you like a more traditional style the value for money it offers for its location is fantastic. It is spotlessly clean with fresh towels and beds made up every day, the staff were all lovely and incredibly helpful. Breakfast is included and can be taken inside or outside. Just be aware that there is no bar in the hotel so you need to bring your own or pop to the bar next door and get your drinks if you want to go up to the Panoramic Terrace which has amazing views of the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge. I would also mention the hotel has a lot of interior stairs, we were on the 3rd floor with the lift only going to the first floor so if you have mobility issues request a room on a lower floor. Fabulous location with easy transport right outside to and from the airport. Thank you for a wonderful stay! ✨

Hotel had an informative and accommodating staff and conveniently located next to the Rialto Bridge. We had an excellent view from our balcony plus we enjoyed purchasing food and enjoying dinner and drinks on their terrace. Breakfast buffet offered a wide varray of fruit, cheese and other foods

I was supposed to have a view of the canal but I was on the first floor and looked out at the dock for the public shuttle boat roof. Need to be on the 2nd floor to get a good view of the canal from your room

Pricey but Nice Hotel

This hotel is basically in the area of Venice that would be considered Times Square of NY. It is a crowded and congested area with the ferry stops and being right on the canal. With that said, we did enjoy the actual hotel with our window that opened to the water. Staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast was good. Seemed overpriced but that’s what you pay to have the amenity of being right on the canal. It’s a very central location, easy to walk about all of Venice. We knew going in that the area is busy, so if your expectation is different you might be disappointed. Overall, Venice is an amazing city and we enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Rialto

The Rialto is situated right next to the famous Rialto Bridge. It's within walking distance of many shops and you can get the water taxi right outside the front door. The hotel was elegant and the staff were gracious and helpful.

Wonderful location if you want to be in the thick of everything. We were within walking distance to everything and the staff was wonderful. Fun little terrace overlooking the Grand Canal and the hotel had Venice charm. Tapestry furnished walls and tons of character.

No AC, most rooms have no elevator access.

Hotel amenities says has elevator and AC. When we arrived our room was on 4th floor with elevator only going to 2nd floor. Two floors of stairs with luggage climbing and we find room is hot. When we asked the front desk we were told it is just starting to warm so they have not started AC yet. Seriously! Two nights of bad sleep because without AC the room is hot and when the windows are opened it is too noisy outside.

This was an excellent location for getting around, but the noise levels were much higher than I expected. It starts around 5:30am with all the venders and their dollys. In the day/evening it’s the water bus stop and all the crowds on the bridge. The Wi-Fi is sub par. 1-2 bars when you have it. However the staff and breakfast set up are definitely 5 star!
