No air conditioning! So hot! The room never cooled off. Couldn’t keep windows open due to risk of birds getting in the room. Lowest bed I’ve ever experienced. Staff was great. Water taxi pickup on checkout day was great! Private transportation services can’t use their dock, only companies the hotel arranges. Breakfast hours started late for tourist with early tours.

Grumpy staff. Overpriced Room shabby, grubby, paint peeling in bathroom, no king bed, just 2 thin mattresses pushed together. Photograph’s on hotel’s website deceptive! Definitely NOT a 4 * hotel.

Perfectly located in the hear of Venice. 5 minutes walking distance to main attractions in Venice (San Marco). Authentic rooms add a charm to the experience in Venice. The breakfastis good but very basic (limited options). The only inconvenience is that it is difficult to reach from the train station (water taxis/shuttles are so expensive, and Vaporetto service is terrible (very crowded) .. but these are not related specifically to the hotel but the whole San Marco area..

Bedroom smelled bad

The hotel room smelled so bad. It was a mix of old carpet and old curtains and mist. It gave us allergies. The breakfast was not a 4 stars breakfast, very few options.

Always stay at the Kette when visiting Venice. Very comfortable hotel in a very central area but always quiet at night. Water taxi has direct access at rear of hotel making transfer from Marco Polo airport very easy. Only bed and breakfast offered but surrounded by great restaurants. Always found the staff very friendly and helpful. Only problem is keeping my wife out of the designer shops around the hotel!
