Unique boutique hotel

Awesome location near Rialto bridge right near the Grand canal, plenty of shopping and restaurants close by and the front desk employee Caroline was very helpful from the moment we stepped through the doors. Breakfast was fresh and delicious just not a lot of variety. Hotel room clean and appearance of what you would expect of a boutique hotel however the air conditioning did not work and it got a little hot in the room but the windows opened up let in a breeze. Not many plugs for electronic charging so bring a converter with USB slots. No microwave in the room only mini fridge and light coffee and tea. Safe in room large enough for tablet and laptop. Water taxi pick up and drop off right near hotel which is convenient especially with large luggage on cobblestone streets. Paid $150 euro for private water taxi to airport front desk arranged for us for 5am pickup. Overall staff great, accomodations nice and great location would stay there again in a heartbeat.

So glad we found this gem! I reserved a room with a view of the canal, and it was totally worth it. I liked how central the property was. Overlooking the canal meant that it was a bit loud in the evening as there is a patio restaurant/bar just below, but it was very manageable. Staff was pleasant and helped us navigate the area and gave suggestions. I appreciated that the front desk was staffed 24 hours, and there was secure entry with a room key from outside. I didn't realize that breakfast was included, so that was a bonus. It had items like cold meats and cheeses, hard boiled eggs, fruit salad, pastries, breads, coffees and juices, yogurt, etc. The only downsides were that the bathroom was incredibly small (you had to step into the shower to open the door from the inside and you had to sit sideways on the toilet to not bump your knee into the vanity), and it was a bit dated with very very old carpeting. It felt a bit dirty to walk around, so I was grateful for the complimentary slippers. Hopefully they get around to replacing the carpeting, but it is a very minor complaint in an overall great stay! Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the hotel was so special thanks to the wonderful staff. Our room was delightful and we were always greeted with a smile by the lovely staff. The view was immaculate and was by far our favourite hotel out of the entire trip. It’s very close to a vaporetto stop to get to Santa Lucia station. Walking distance to so many fabulous restaurants and bars. Couldn’t recommend enough.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at this well located hotel. Only steps from the famous Rialto bridge, water bus and gondola rides. The staff was excellent. They even arranged a free water taxi ride to Murano and paid our entry into the glass factory. The room is small but nothing to complain about.

This was really a great property to stay. My wife and I stayed 10 days 9 nights in the Grand Deluxe Canal View room. We had a great view of the Rialto Bridge and Canal. The place is very strategic and central, being near the Realto Bridge. Sylvia and other staff were very helpful and courteous. We really enjoyed our stay during the Venice Carnivale 2025. It's near food and groceries, so very convenient. Also a 10-12 minute walk to San Marco Square. Will definitely come back.

Absolutely loved the location which was next to the Rialto bridge, and walkeble to all areas.. We also appreciated the included breakfast. Over all great stay!!...definitely recommended

The hotel had the basics and has enough to provide a comfortable stay. Apart from limited variety at breakfast we had a very nice stay. The hotel is also in a prime position to get to see /get to most landmarks.

Staff was nice and professional. Rooms are NOT sound proof. There is a bar next door that plays loud music until 11 pm and you can hear anything that happens in the hallway. The shower had soap scum all throughout, which made it seem like it isn’t thoroughly cleaned. The shower was only halfway enclosed, so water went all over the floor when showering. The best thing about the hotel is the cat that lives in the alley outside.

The hotel is convenient in terms of location being central and a stones throw from the Rialto bridge. However this is a double edged sword as the tourist trap restaurants are below this hotel on the canal side. I was on the top (3rd) floor in room 304 which was near to the front of the hotel that faces the Grand Canal near to the lounge area. The noise from the restaurants is very apparent with the dinners being serenaded by some lothario who sounds half drunk on a karaoke night that had to be contended with until about 11pm even with the shutters and window closed! Furthermore I had 2 mosquitoes in my room. 1 I killed when I arrived. The second was bothering me until the second night when I luckily swatted it in the dark in bed as it was trying to bite me. Lastly I had breakfast on my first morning at the hotel which later that day all came up? So I'm not not sure on the hygiene standards or how well the breakfast bar food is stored and possible cross contamination. It almost ruined half my holiday as I was only in Venice 2 full days over 3 nights. I ended up getting breakfast from Cafe del Doge and supplies from nearby supermarkets. Would I stay here again? No. It has a contemporary interior which is ok, but beyond that you can probably get better further afield.

A Boutique Hotel with Great View

A lovely stay at this charming hotel on the Grand Canal. We had a Grand Canal View Room and we could see the Rialto Bridge from our room which was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating with our needs. Great central location and easy to get the water taxi (Alilaguna) to and from the airport, literally across the canal. The room itself was comfortable with lovely pillows and a great size, but could do with a paint touch up due to some marks on the walls. Be aware that due to its location, there are restaurants below you that play live music. They stopped by 11pm but something to be aware of. Overall, a great hotel and would be happy to stay here again next time we visited Venice!
