I thought the location was excellent and the fact that the water taxi pulls right up to the door so if you need to go anywhere buy water taxi it’s available. Staff was excellent. The hotel was clean. The food was amazing and they had an awesome view on the rooftop

This was very close to Marco sq. And lots of sights. Very nice hotel. Breakfast was nice. Turn down slippers and pillow menu were cool.

Rooms are nice and being cleaned when you are not there. Staff is very nice and helpful. Elevator is a life saver. Restorant is very nice. It is in the middle of this beautiful city (between Marco and Realto) but be prepared that you will have to walk to this hotel for five minutes with your luggage to get there so make sure you have a map how to get there. It is very nice after all.

This hotel is perfectly located nearly in the center of everything. It’s just a 2 minute walk to Piazza San Marco. The bar and lounge is a bit lack Luster but it does the job, quite nicely, after a long day walking all over the city. The restaurant looks lovely, but we didn’t really use it. The bed was a bit hard for one of us, but perfectly fine for the other. The Staff is very accommodating, but not pushovers. ****would stay here again!

Lovely property just off San Marco. Centrally located, so easy to get around. A wonderful respite from a bustling city. Staff was always courteous, helpful and respectful. Room was newly renovated and attractive. Breakfast was plentiful. Would definitely recommend

Please ensure that if you need a water taxi, you book it directly with the concierge. I had arranged one to the airport through the front desk, but they forgot to record it. Fortunately, the concierge was able to step in and quickly secure our transfer to the airport.”

Love the water taxi drop off directly from the airport! This hotel is centrally located within Venice. The AC is so nice in the room and they offer water as well. It is also right across a gondola stop. What more can you ask for? Staff was great and room was very clean and spacious. Amazing hotel.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews. However, for the price point, the rooms were very outdated. I’ll start with the positive- the staff members were very nice and helpful. Location was amazing. Breakfast was just okay. Negative- how rundown the rooms are. The photos on their websites misrepresents the rooms. We had booked a queen bed- we got two twin beds attached together…. The bathtub was yellow. We requested them to change our rooms but they didn’t. We had stayed at StarHotel in Milan- and the standard is not comparable to this one. I expected more to be honest.

Great Stay at Splendid Venice

We had an great stay at Splendid Venice! It was right in the heart of the city near the plaza and wonderful restaurants. The concierge recommended places to eat- restaurants, gelato etc. and was especially helpful. Only slide note is that breakfast is a bit on the pricey side so consider purchasing it with your room at the start or going nearby for affordability.
