Good position is its main advantage

Location: Close to everything, especially transport. A few steps and you are deep into the city of Venice.
Position, position, position! That summarises the hotel's primary benefit. Its internal structure is similar to that of Venice. Twisting corridors, steps both up and down to get to the room, and getting a little bit old. Getting luggage to the room was a bit of an effort as the old knees ain't what they used to be. But the location for the price is excellent value. Firstly it is close to the main station and bus drop off. A 5 minute walk to the station and 10 minutes to the bus. The water buses are even closer. Turn left as you leave the building and you are immediately in Venice with its narrow winding streets, bridges over canals, small piazzes, views of the grand canal,... A right turn is the transport hub. Rooms clean, bathroom clean, linen replaced every day: a good place to sleep and refresh after a day out in the city. Its just that it's a little bit old and tired but i didn't notice that as i slept on the comfortable beds. So great location for a good price. Not the Ritz hotel but then it's not meant to be that and makes no claim to being so. I would recomnemd this hotel to family and friends and would happily stay there again.
