In summary, we landed at Marco Polo Airport and arrived by boat via Alilaguna Waterbus to the Arsenal Boat dock at 12:00 AM. For your reference once you land at Marco Polo Airport it is a 10 minute walk to the Alilaguna Waterbus terminal. Alfonso was there to greet us at the boat dock. Alfonso was very friendly even at this time of night. We walked to the property and were greeted with snacks and drinks. The property was a 3 minute walk from the Arsenal boat dock to provide perspective. Alfonso provided very nice guidance on things to see, places to eat and fun stuff for my college age kids to do for nightlife. For a group of 6 people, the home was spacious, clean and inviting. The next morning, within 1 minute walk from the home there was a very nice cafe to have coffee and breakfast which you were in the Aresenal di Venezia looking directly at the Leone Del Pireo. The home is located within 10 minute walk of popular tourist destinations such as Piazza San Marco. When I say plenty, there are more restaurants, bars, stores to meet any and all your needs. Alfonso was an amazing gentleman and messaged me during our stay to ensure everything was perfect and answer any questions. For my family, the location could not have been a better choice. When I come back to Venice, I hope this location is available for me to stay again.
