In the charming village of Vertheuil, right in the heart of the Médoc vineyards, this cozy cottage is the perfect base for enjoying the Médoc and a peaceful, relaxing getaway. Private entrance, parking, covered terrace, sauna (under repair until June 2), jacuzzi, and a fully equipped kitchen—ideal for a couple.



The cottage is ideally located in the Médoc Natural Park, between the estuary ports and the ocean, in a quiet and restful area:

- 30 minutes from ocean beaches (Montalivet, Plage des Pins)

- 20 minutes from Lake Hourtin and its leisure center (water sports, hiking, cycling, horse riding)

- 10 minutes from the estuary ports as well as Saint-Estèphe and Pauillac

- 1 hour from Bordeaux, 1 hour from the bay, and 45 minutes from Verdon-sur-Mer



The accommodation is in the heart of Vertheuil, one of the prettiest villages in the Médoc. Our stay in Vertheuil

My wife, 2 dogs and I had a great stay at this vacation home in the Dordogne region. The location of the rental is central to several excellent wineries and nearby cities. The local market is walking distance to the property and they sell fresh clams on the weekends. The property does offer a sauna and hot tub which are nice and the hosts were very attentive to our needs. There was an issue with a barking dog next store but this was quickly resolved. I would recommend driving around the reason to explore the spectacular chateaus.
