Honest Review of a Lovely Holiday Home
Lovely property; Tarita, is a great host. House clean, tidy & beautifully furnished. Lovely extras added like toiletries & bath robes. Holiday home is via shared front door host family use as well, & they could be there during your stay, as in our case. Not a problem as such, as we never saw anyone but were conscious that someone else was in the house when walking past their door & personal belongings to access our area (this should be mentioned in listing) although we had privacy & lock on our door. Also, listed as 2 bedrooms - there is 1 large loft bedroom with 2 double beds. ‘2nd’ bedroom is double bed in space at top of stairs so have to walk through landing bed space to get to main bedroom. Again, not clear in listing & may be a problem for some people. Limited space for clothes - few draws & 1 small hanging rail unit - our 5nt stay, lived out of suitcases which was fine but not ideal. Inside TV seating area a little ‘snug’ for 4 adults to sit comfortably together on sofa. Can use beanbags from upstairs but limited space to put them downstairs. Nice outdoor seating with bbq if you prefer to sit outside. To sum up, with sleeping layout, property would suit couple, or family with young children. Although, in my opinion, steep stairs & open stairwell maybe a safety issue for ‘very’ young. Stunningly decorated & has all you need for a lovely stay. Must stress, none of these points took away from the fact, we did have a great stay & Tarita was extremely friendly & helpful.
