We had a wonderful stay at the house. This was one if the best equipped house we ever stayed in (all equipment and basic necessities are stocked)—very practical when visiting from abroad. Everything is exactly as described and the host takes great care of all details and for you to have a great stay. Plus she greated us with some local food to taste. We stayed with our 2 year old son who enjoyed playing in the big yard (the provided baby bed, high chair and potty were a real bonus). We would highly recommend staying at Evelyne’s house for quiet family vacations in the country, yet close to everything in the beautiful Dordogne area.

Wonderful Family Home

Set back in a garden, the house is private, quiet, and well loved. There is everything you might need, and the location is convenient for exploring the many sights in the area. There is a small grocery store in Beynac, but the bakery of your dreams is just over the bridge towards Castlenaud. Evelyn is a gracious host and a great communicator, en Francais.

Spectacular (even in the rain!)

We had the best stay here. Eve was so helpful. She even treated us to the local walnut cake upon our arrival! The property is gorgeous, with a view of a castle in the distance. The house was spacious and well stocked. The location is close to several impressive sites. Everything was just perfect!

A perfect spot!

This beautiful family home has everything, peace & tranquillity, yet very close to wonderful places to visit. It’s not like staying in a rental property, it’s a real, well furnished, well equipped home. Eve was there to welcome us, & show us her home, which has a beautiful garden, too. We spent our evenings eating on the back patio, & one evening 11 hot air balloons floated by! A great view of Beynac castle from the front, La Roque Gageac just 3 miles away, the gardens of Marqueyssac just 2 miles and the town of Sarlat close, too. The house kept cool in the heat, thanks to the shutters. So peaceful, yet so close to the Dordogne river & Chateaux! Recommend without reservation…we just had a glorious two weeks in the Perigord! Merci beaucoup, Eve

Welcoming home in great location

We spent 3 nights at this lovely family home. The property was very private and you felt you were in the country. However, very nearby were Domme, the castles Beynac and Castelnaud (both of which you can see from the property), Sarlat and La Roque Gageac. The house is very well equipped and you feel as though you are staying at a friend's home. Not a sterile rental property. The living/dining area was particularly cozy one rainy evening. Eve and her family were very welcoming. We would definitely return.

Der Empfang durch die Vermieter war sehr freundlich mit vielen interessanten Informationen. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, sauber und mit allen notwendigen Utensilien ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr gut,viele Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen in der Nähe. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Arrivée très bien préparée.la maison en elle-même correspond à l'annonce et à nos besoins, Bémol sur sommiers chambre à deux lits plutôt fatigués.très bon point: moustiquaires aux fenêtres!!! un petit paradis qu'on ne veut pas quitter

La propriétaire est d'une extrême gentillesse et très efficace. La maison est calme avec de belles vues, elle est entourée de verdure, vaste et confortable, cheminée et terrasse. Nous avons passé huit jours dans cette maison chaleureuse dont nous gardons un souvenir excellent. Merci.

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einer tollen Umgebung

Das sehr schöne Haus liegt sehr günstig zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten im Perigord. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und bietet innen und außen reichlich Platz für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Übergabe erfolgte schnell und reibungslos. Für uns war der nahe gelegene Bäcker in Beynac sehr wichtig, weil er es ermöglichte, dass wir jeden Morgen frisches Baguette zum Frühstück hatten. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Paradies mit Aussicht!!

Gelegen auf einen riesengroßen wunderbaren Grundstück haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Für das wechselhafte Wetter war die überdachte Terrrasse wunderbar. Ein großer Dank an Evelyn für Ihre Geduld und den wunderbaren Nusskuchen. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und im Bad findet man eine Dusche, die schöner nicht sein könnte. Aber auch hier gibt es ein paar Punkte, die nachgebesser werden könnten. Die Matratze im Schlafzimmer zur Terrasse könnte erneuert werden, ebenso die Sitzmöbel im Wohnzimmer. Die Lage des Hauses ist genial zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten gelegen, endlich mal keine langen Fahrtstrecken!! Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen.

Très agréable séjour à Vezac

La maison est totalement au calme, entourée d’un grand et beau jardin. Elle est parfaitement entretenue et très bien équipée. Son emplacement à côté des plus beaux châteaux de la Dordogne est idéal. Nous recommandons sans réserve !

"Un séjour du 2 au 6 août, entre amis, trois couples, dans un espace magnifique. Eve nous a accueilli avec chaleur, délicatesse et spontanéité. Le site est calme, la maison bien agencé et bien équipée, Eve prévoit les choses de première nécessité ( café, eau, huile, sel, papier toilette etc….)La literie est bonne. Notre séjour a été des plus agréable et reposant . Le bal des montgolfières multicolores le matin est magnifique. Nous reviendrons."

Superbe. Une maison parfaite.

Cette maison est tout à fait impeccable. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Ève et sa famille étais très sympa and sa maison est la type de maison que je voudrais trouve en France - très bien équipée et tranquille. Cependant la location est proche de tous les sites. La maqique pour nous - les montgolfières tous les matins à petit déjeuner dehors.
