Very nice stay. Its in the middle of all castles etc. Nice and helpful host. May we can convince him to have a better internet in order to prevent crying children. The rest is good. Not a 5* stay, but if you are focused on nature and atmosphere you are right there. Recommended.

Un séjour impeccable

Idéalement situé, le gîte à répondu à toutes nos attentes. L'accueil s'est bien passé, contact avec le propriétaire sans problème. Situé à 10 minutes de Sarlat, à 5 minutes de la Dordogne, nous avons pu profiter des multiples activités proposées dans le secteur : baignade en rivière ou plan d'eau, accrobranche, gabarre, visites touristiques de sublimes villages ainsi que les châteaux. Le gîte offre également la fraîcheur de ses vieilles pierres, ce qui est très appréciable en cas de fortes chaleurs. Bref, nous avons aimé notre séjour et nous pensons à revenir chez Monsieur Mazère l'an prochain.

Déception

L'impression n'est pas bonne. Certes, la maison a de bons côtés (grand espace, clarté - en haut, mais pas au rez de chaussée - mais je souligne deux défauts majeurs : Le compteur électrique qui disjoncte et la télé défaillante. Le compteur électrique ne se trouve pas dans la location : lorsqu'il saute, impossible de rétablir le courant sans avoir recours au propriétaire qui est juste à côté, mais... C'est arrivé, 3 fois sur 6 nuits, C'est beaucoup : plus de lumière (alors que dehors, l'éclairage de ville fonctionne), le matin, pas de bouilloire, de cafetière, de grille-pain, et même la nuit, la lumière est bien utile... -- Quant à la télé, elle fonctionne avec un "démodulateur" (??) et lorsqu'elle est déréglée (par la faute, bien sûr, du locataire), .. et bien plus rien... Donc, arrivés le dimanche, nous n'avons pas pu regarder un seul programme du mardi au samedi. Aucune explication, aucune excuse... Nous retournerons dans cette région superbe, mais sûrement pas chez M. Mazère. Juste un mot encore : la réalité ne correspond pas exactement au descriptif et aux photos.

Traumhaftes Dordognetal

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit viel Platz, in herrlicher Umgebung. Allerdings müsste mal in den Ecken geputzt werden. Leider sprach die Gastfamilie kein Englisch und des gab auch kein funktionierendes Internet, obwohl beides über Fewo-direkt so angegeben war. Am ersten Abend war die Heizung nicht an (Nachts kühlte es bis auf 4-5 Grad C ab). Dafür hatten wir eine Schubkarre mit Holz. Leider fehlte das Anmachholz und wir hatten Not das Feuer im Kaminofen anzufachen. Ab dem 2. Tag lief dann die Heizung. Insgesamt aber eine empfehlenswerte FeWo, man muss halt ein paar Abstriche machen.

Légère déception

Les côtés positifs: maison en pierre avec du cachet, salon agréable avec cheminée, petite cour arborée devant l’entrée, literie de la chambre double confortable, gîte bien situé pour rayonner dans la région, au calme dans les hauteurs, dans un lieu dit, chemin de randonnée dans les bois au sortir de la maison Les moins: Le salon/séjour est un peu sombre car non réellement traversant, Quelques équipements sont abimés/vieillissants (abats jours, rideaux, nappes, assiettes), la buanderie/we du rdv mériterait un rafraîchissement, Les objets de décoration n’étaient pas à notre goût en particulier dans la cuisine et la salle à manger. Tous les services sont en supplément du prix de location ce qui pourrait être mis plus en avant dans l’annonce: location de linge de maison, ménage final, bois pour la cheminée, même le chauffage, Nous avons enfin été assez déçus par l’acceuil des propriétaires qui pourtant sont voisins du gîte. Nous ne renouvèlerons pas l’expérience dans ce gîte. En revanche la région est magnifique et nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir!

Omdat we tot onze grote spijt niet de woning kregen die we contractueel gehuurd hadden, maar een andere, kleinere woning van de zelfde eigenaar, kunnen we niets over de oorspronkelijk gehuurde woning zeggen.
